Changed the line in bold just to see and it messed things up. Do not change the dimensions line. -.-
I then changed the Samples count for both low and high res nebula up to 4416 because I'm insane. This only affects the galmap as above. My FPS dropped by over 70% and the fanspeeds autoadjusted to high but it was nice. Not really appreciable difference for the hit in FPS and load times (popping in Nebula), wouldn't advise going over 276/552.
So rundown of what we know:
-Low/High ResNebulacount when low = 0 the closest nebula is good but only 1 visible on both map and game.
-Low/High ResSamplesCount affects map quality only, low = zoomed out, high = zoomed in
-Low/High ResNebulaDimensions messes up both map and flight, do not touch.
Anything else to try while I'm here?
There's only a few lines left which seem self explanatory but I'm not sure if there are other settings hidden elsewhere in the XML for me to try and tweak to breaking point.
Redfox I thought that a while back but I'm not overly sure. I think it got a boost in 2.1 yeah.
