Few ideas here that I need someone else to help with:

1. Regarding the song, can we get the two recordings of the 'song' of the UA and UP's analyzed by someone with a high degree of musical talent and try and get the notes recorded? Maybe that's where the message lies, is in the 'notes' of the songs? (reaching for straws here.... LOL)

2. Regarding Jacque, can someone take the map and superimpose two lines over the galactic map, showing the intended path from Gliese xxxx(?) to Beagle, and then from Gliese xxxx(?) to where he ended up? I think it would be a good idea to try and see if there is any system that sticks out or that we can try and see if there is a way to see where he may have deviated from his original course?

Can anyone confirm the UP is only available from convoys ATM? Or are there also free-floating varieties?

I've not headed out that way for a while so will take a look. I need 1T MAs for F. Farseer, can they still be collected from (some) of the Barnies? Or are they all drained?

I feel your pain - the pain of science, lol. I think most CMDRs here have been there, if that makes sense. Take a break, smuggle, mine, get materials... It will all unfold against our misadventures...

Yeah, I've also had those wailing sounds on the planet the whole time since we went there with the UP. Cannot remember if the sounds where there before - probably. Sounds like some ambient sound some planets have. If they are related to what has been found on Merope 5c (barnacles) or the UP pointing there, your guess is as good as mine.

The UA sound have already been deeply analyzed, notes have been found, songs have been sung on the microphone, 10000 words spoken on the mic as well (from me), music have been played back.
You have no idea... :)
I'll check the old threads later for the notes.

FD need to update the UI at stations so the important bulletins scroll a cross the bottom or top like a sky news breaking news report, that way we can see what's going on and might be inclined to read it!


....... A bit like the galnet news YouTube channel!

sorry real life got in the way for a couple days but i can play for a while today, yay. im no good in a fight but exploration is my middle name. finally on my way to merope system. how can i be of assistance?

Slightly more seriously though... I don't have any idea what FD's plans for Jaques were originally. I don't know if other players delivered UAs, though I definitely wasn't the only one taking actions to deliberately or inadvertently have some impact on Jaques jump, though that article doesn't mention anything to do with UAs.

If the 200 UAs I shipped were indeed the sole cause of Jaques station's misjump, and he would've happily arrived at Beagle Point if not, bully for me as a space chav, but all roleplaying aside it's "Mission Complete" as far as I'm concerned, as my sole motivating factor to it was "Man, wouldn't it be cool if I could cause issues with Jaques' before it jumps. It might arrive at Beagle Point with technological plague issues, and then there'll be a big community effort to ship MA's 65,000 LY to fix it". People are already rallying to try and repair Jaques Station with Meta Alloys, fuel, and other supplies. That's pretty awesome, and even if people legit feel angst at me for causing that malfunction, I'm pretty happy to see the community getting together like that.

I'm not about being the bad guy, but I'm definitely about being morally ambiguous, 'good guys' need a bad guy to create a some sparks :)

It's on my list of stuff to do when I get 5 mins, to analyse the notes and see what relationships (if any) there are to the notes of the UA

also if the space station (sorry i forget details easy) getting lost in frame shift with ua, up, ma in cargo maybe we should test jumping about with combinations of those materials in our bays.
