Thanks, but I think I just got lucky. Flight controls are very sluggish in glide and 2500m/s means there's not really and time or agility to make adjustments. Anyway, we survived this time. I'll make sure there's no second time.

Yeah as a PSA, if a ship travelling at supercruise speeds hits another ship it will instantly kill it.

There was a video from a Russian player at a station where a Cutter got wiped out by his wingmate arriving from SC

Also, will there be an announcement on the dangerous discussions forum? That still coming or did I miss something?

Just a quick note to say thanks for congregating in the deep southern polar latitudes - you made a lonely explorer look once more up to the stars instead of grinding the gears through the dirt of Beagle Point 2. I watched snippets on the youtube feed and will be watching it all in full later once I can find some quiet time. Shame I had to leave after all the ships had landed and the SRVs began nosing about. It will be awfully lonely now the event is over and I will gun the SRV up towards the equator.

Thanks to Corbin Moran for inviting me in and using my location for the event!

I watched the replay of Ed's live stream and it was good, but there was a couple of times where you didn't here corbin during the video clips.

Yeah - we had a few technical issues. I would have loved to be able to demonstrate the new and beautiful interactive map that is taking form on EDSM - unfortunately Ed was not able to who it in the stream, and the static image file for the map was also to large to handle. There was also a few sound issues at a time, but the important parts came through loud and clear.

All in all I think it was a blast

But geez - theres a lot of stuff to keep together when doing a live stream. Im really glad there where three of us there during the talks. We had a lot of topics we´d like to share and I think we managed to cover most of them.

Great flying by the flying circus - thank you for so willingly playing along with my last minute stunts and ideas. Special kudos to Alex for leading the column with calm and skill.
Really nice flying also in the "breaks" where you encircled us during the talks and gave Ed quite a few jump-scares with those close fly-bys (was that you KJ?).

And now I know it is time for several members of the flying circus to self-destruct and teleport back to the bubble to help out in the dangerous games. And time for some of us to fire up those alt accounts to do the same

I'm sorry, I just couldn't resist!! [wacky] Ed's facial expressions when I did some of my super close fly-boy's is hilarious!! [woah] And the Discovery Scanner thing.. I was wetting myself!! [haha] lol

The Disco Scanner honking was great fun!
I wish the honk could be tuned to different pitches, then we could actually play tunes out in the black... the Blue Danube anyone?
