do you have the actual spectrum options that everyone is using?
Not off the top of my head. We all seem to be using slightly different settings depending on what we want to clean up. The downside of that audio is all the low band noise.

Looking at that image, and specifically the ED logo just to the left of the center, it clearly is garbled on the bottom end. The coloring also changes from "positive" (ie dark) to "negative" (ie light) when crossing the treshold.Well played Mr. Brookes... Well Played...

Wouldn't this indicate that we need to look more at the bottom part of the UP Reply, and treat "light" as the relevant parts in that section?

This is just easter egg or/and copyright. Sound director of FD cool guy![]()
That's not a "blue disk". It's another ship and you're seeing the trailing light that is normal for ships in Supercruise. Looks cool when it passes you at that speed and then turns away, but it doesn't look "alien". Sorry. You mean the blue disk that shoots by me on left side of the screen when I'm dropping out?
Just a quick input here. Too late at night, don't have enough awake braincells to make long theories, sorry.
This picture was taken by Destructionist from when he followed the UP Convoy to Wolf 1453, if I understood his two posts correctly.
Now, looking at that, one thing looks out of place:
Why is the UP Convoy transporting Reactive Armour? I get the Meta Alloys, but I don't understand why it was deemed necessary to bring the other item in the hold. From the ingame description it looks to be armour for personell, and shouldn't really have any effect on a ship. Still, maybe, just for the hell of it, someone can pick up...oh...let's say 6 of these, along with 10 Meta Alloys, the next time a UP is recovered? It certainly can't hurt to try to do exactly what the NPCs/Feds are doing with the UPs "for science."
plus the'rea LOT of engine noise near the coms array of the CAP.... also was using the nightime for getting a better "bep" recording
Inadvertantly perhaps, but yesYou're thinking this might be a kind of 'helper' clue?
Sure. But if the bottom part of the UP Reply wasn't relevant, then you would expect the Elite Logo to be clearly displayed ABOVE the "noise cutoff line" in the "Easter Egg image" as well. This, atleast to me, indicates that when they create these messages they use the whole spectrum, not just the upper part that is clearly visible. This is just easter egg or/and copyright. Why? To continue that line of thinking, why aren't they carrying personal weapons then? This is a military ship and its logical that they holds reactive armor :|
Mind enabling the download of the audio for others to play with?

They have been sent out to carry out "orbital testing" according to their own comms chatter. Why would they need Reactive Armour for that?
