Some form of recognition would be nice but the option to turn it off and hide it if you don't want to should be there, that way everyone is catered for.

For many of us our pledge level represents our available funds and while we would like to have pledged more we pledged as much as possible withour impacting our families, etc. So I would personally say, no, let's draw a line and say we all contributed to ensure this amazing journey could be undertaken, regardless of the amount.
If you want bragging rights, let's earn them in-game with our approach, skills, knowledge, and ultimately, at least for some - Elite status

made a couple of sigs as a test to see if anyone is intrested
for those who wish to use these feel free, i strongly suggest that you save them to you computer and then upload them to photobucket or some other image hosting site as i cant promise that i will continue to host them.
I can make changes but its not something that is put together in 10 mins.

Wow, cool! I'm not usually a fan of pics in sigs, especially when they're quite thick, but these are tempting... I may make a shrinked down version of that Author one. Thanks for your work

i think they have still yet to set up the PBF DDF and the Authers forum, i think this area is just fan stuff.

Nah, as far as I know there will be a specific section for Writers. It wouldn't do to have all your plot lines and story devs disseminated to the general public now would it!
@ Mobius - Nice work! Although I'd consider either using a drop shadow or a 'glow' to get the lettering to pop out a but from the contrast shift in the background. But really subtle - just a couple of pixels worth.
these are tests, i generaly use photshop to do photo repairs so this is a new area of photoshop im playing with, im still learning, as i get more confident with what does what they should get better.
if any author's or DDF members would like it a bit more personalised then let me know as i need the practice.

Well, I'm probably far too far too fussy for you, but if you really want requests... I'd like something about a third or less of the current height, really very slim, with a silver or gold border, that says "Tales from the Frontier" and "Writer" ("Author" is the wrong title in my view) in a Times New Roman esque font. The current font for the Author one looks far too close to Comic Sans for most people's comfort

yeah the font was ment to portray calligraphy style.
ill make one thinner just a little thinner than my one for you. I think its going to have to be long and thin for the text.
