Sounds like a bad case of Apophenia
if its Merope 5C then the line could be going from the dusk line of the planet, the two curved lines are the sun so its lighting that side. Who knows it could be a tunnel or some other construction on the planet somewhere which could be as small as a landing pad (needle in a mountain of haystacks) so not at all easy to find.
Thank you, but I did; the vast majority of the conversation that is now on that Reddit thread was not there when I looked much earlier today. Before you go accusing people of poor comprehension I suggest that you give them the benefit of the doubt!
So, assuming we DID find a probe in ET. Is there anything significant about that area?
I am way behind on the pages in this thread, so this may be a bit redundant. Sorry if it is.If you read his replies, he seems fair and honest.
I suggest to check the nearby Nebula as well, and to cruise for some time in every system you check, knowing that those kind of spawns have changed (UA like).
There's no need to check every system, just pick them randomly, but accordingly to what we know about the UA Shell.
AND REMEMBER: even if you "simply" find an UA, IT IS IMPORTANT AS WELL!!! No UAs outside the shell so far.
Hehe, that was fun. took a break from searching to nudge and shout at a UA "TELL US YOUR SECRETS!"
I was there!!! LOL :-D
People who distract you from the mystery need to be ignored.
Maybe the honk charges it. The probe absorbs the scanner impulse and amplifies it back out. However, 1 honk from our ships is not strong enough. Has anyone tried having multiple ships present and all simultaneously honk ?
Hmmm yeah. Group honk.
this could work if its not already been tried...Maybe the honk charges it. The probe absorbs the scanner impulse and amplifies it back out. However, 1 honk from our ships is not strong enough. Has anyone tried having multiple ships present and all simultaneously honk ?
