Its grand, keep it like it is. Just one ECM or some PTD will deal with it, so why not balance it yourself. :)
I love replies that have nothing to do with the addressed post! Thermal was the key part of that. But maybe you know something I don't? Cuz I missed the part about ecm's countering stacked thermal shock effects.

On the planetary scanner, does it apply to already scanned planets, or planets which you buy the data for in a station?

So no fix for unlimited multi ammunition or mission bonus timer saying zero hour zero minutes.

Turrets are STILL set by default to fire at will which makes them basically useless for constant interdictions because you have to set them to target only every time you drop out of SC.

Still no turret mode remember last fix yet?
It HAS to be what, only 1 line of code to look at? 6 months now...?? Are they trolling?

I have only been playing for about two months and have used turrets for most of that time, this bug only showed up for me about two patches ago, but I have to say I rarely have a problem with it unless I run out of missiles which I use to designate targets for my turrets I always run in fire at will I consider it the best option.

The surface scan data for materials being shown in the system map was missing from the change log - now added to the original post.

Michael

Including Surface Scans for Unknown Craft? :D

Serious question though - is this backward compatible with previous scans or only for new surface scans?

I dont get this complaint. I run turrets on my conda and corvette and always set them to fire at will. friendly fire with turrets has been fixed months ago...

A couple of posters are saying 5 microresources when you collect???

Words from patch notes only mention 3.

"- When collecting physical micro resources or retrieving data loot, add 3 to the inventory instead of 1. If your inventory can't fit 3, just add enough to fill the inventory"

Which is nice!

Look, patch notes have one very simple goal: to inform the user of changes to the product, in a clear and concise way. Its not supposed to be a riddle, they arent clues or hints as to what may have changed. All changes in the patch should be in the notes, and all notes should be correct, complete and understandable by the average user. Its not as if this the largest patch mankind has ever seen, either. So if you say 'changes to blueprints', you link that to the document so people dont have to search the forums. When you announce the biggest change, the increase in mats, you dont make a typo in the only character that really mattered. When you pre-announced a big change for the DSS, you either put it in the patch notes, and if it is not there, you inform the customer why it is not there. For crying out loud, sometimes I cant help but feel FD is intentionally cultivating a reputation for being terrible at communicating just literally any kind of information.

Really, I love ED and the guys at FD are great, but just a minor ammount of polish here and there would help their reputation so incredibly much...

Finally someone has shown with words what most of us, HARDCORE PLAYERS, are feelings for a long time, FD you have to start treating every text you post in the INTERNET as a very high importance PR Document, refresh your people in what people nowadays expect of a company, be it a Telco or a Software house, read from Microsoft's Book since you are so buddy buddy with them !!!

thats all in the patch notes...

Was a typo at first. :p

I've always ran Target only. I don't want Fire at Will. It splits weapon fire to two different targets.

I switch to TO and next time I drop out its back to FAW.

I want it to stay on what I've selected.

They changed the Post from 5 to 3 :p

So what happens to all the redundant stuff? Does that get turned into various annoyingly hard to get firmwares? [woah]

Can't argue with any of that..especially having just seen the 'that spreadsheet was incomplete and didn't include commodities' post that just appeared in this thread even though people have been talking endlessly about that sheet for quite some time now.

They really aren't helping themselves, i agree.
