Good for him, not much time left, someone could show CR that crazy japanese game where you drive a train, or school/romance simulators, or any other popular game, yeah, we are thinking about space-school, and space trains, maybe even space elevators, someone has to press the button, we can simulate that, we are a space sim after all
Noone mention SimAnt, or the possible career as a rollercoaster designer, with fidelicious gravity (your coaster might not work well on a moon), cocktail mixi... oh wait they got it covered, did chris ever play fifa/nhl/nba games? Pretty sure proper league mgmt is important for immersion. I hope farming is simulated properly and plants grow in realistic time, would be a shame if they didn't simulate chlorophyll

Well that is a over simplification of their network infrastructure but yes there is very little that can be done about latency but both you and I know that there are techniques out there to mitigate most of the edge cases.

Most likely the new patch will bring such an amount of features that prompts them into 3.0 directly, just like the 2.0 patch last year brought the Crusader Universe in December after being showcased 2015 Gamescom. Exactly the same iteration but now with "extra extra magic germans" sauce.
