I'd like to thank the UA bomber squad for the motivation to move my lazy ass out of Sothis and look for fat profits elsewhere.
So finally I ended up using my Corvette as it was intended, blowing stuff up in conflict zones.
Turns out some factions like to pay me 50 million per hour just to massacre their enemies by the dozens. I don't think I will ever be able to go back to hauling biowaste.

Too bad all those UA bombers are on xbox.
Sure, a whole bunch of people are getting annoyed by this and some are outright crying but the only constant I see in the middle of all this is you. It's like you have a personal investment in all this ordeal.
Lets not worry too much about these UA Bombers, school summer break is nearly over and mum will be sending them to bed early as it's a school time. We won't see them until they break for half term then Christmas!

Is that going to also mean we can expect to see less whiney "i got killed in my unarmed ship that i decided was a good idea to take 22k ly from the bubble to a known gathering spot" posts? Or less "Hey, i dont have a lot of time so it's my right to get 1-2 billion credits in a couple days so i can buy anything i want in the game too just like the people who have over the course of 15 months put in a thousand hours". Cuz if so then yay school.

I don't know what bombers are doing to Sothis but please go on. I got THREE missions worth 5+millions each for one jump to Ceos. First time I ever saw that.
I expected to get a decent Python in a few days but tonight (after a couple more runs) I'm visiting Diaguandri or Lembava, 100 millions should get me a starting trading Python to stack even more missions.
And as I said, if Sothis goes down, alternatives are already well known. At least one of them without a black market.
Have fun hauling all that crap non-stop. You're not even getting a decent thread full of tears like the ones I used to see in EvE.
But it does have an anarchist faction.

This thread is a discussion about where other CMDR's will go after Sothis so we could organise some wing runs.. Not for you to cry about how we should play your game.

I might have a look at some of these places mentioned, eventually. I wiped my save on the Xbox and deleted the game but on the PC all I did was delete my save. My new sidewinder is in LHS 3447 and I got a message about doing a mission elsewhere to earn 10,000 credits. Trying to play on 2 platforms was certainly slowing down my progress. I won't be making any log distance hauling for awhile and I've decided to take some advice and stick to 1 system and gain a lot of rep with 1 faction. Just need to find a good home base a little bit away from LHS 3447.
Maia is a good place, and you can haul stuff locally to, there are lots of data missions that give all kinds of engineer goodies as rewards.
Bloody well said sir. People should keep their noses out of the way other people play the game and just maybe concentrate on how they play the game.
