Been there a while earlier today. Nothing much happening. Got some very rare datamined wake scan, but that's not tied to the mystery I think (as in what's happening tomorrow) - as for the message it might be the pilot saw something

Based on this picture, it looks rather like a mountain range or wave/storm that just picks up some light when the ground below doesn't. Could be wrong, but I've seen this kind of thing before... with interest, but after paying more attention discounted it.
