This isn't a player fault, it's the FDEV's fault, not knowing how to play their game in Open in a Type-9! or make Scripted NPC's so other people in another instances at Open or Solo and Private players can join the hunt.

A big failed community event, if you asked me.

exactly. can't design these things in such a way that a single idiot can send the whole thing sideways.

I'm pretty sure the issue that Frontier had with one of the clues wasn't anything to do with the trader getting blown up.

It's far more likely the issue was with the mess-up on enciphering the 6th clue from Alpha so it didn't account for apostrophes and also stripped out the time after 'at'. Isn't it?

The amount of whinging in this thread is unreal!

Quit diluting the pertinent information with needless moaning and take it to the TMZ forums.

Youre not happy, we get it. Play something else. Do something else. You have a choice.

On topic - I cant help but think that "One of my friends always lies. . . " is more a riddle than a statement. Not got any answers, just a hunch. Like the other end of a compass "always lies" thats my line of thinking. . . or "lies" may mean "not upright" rather than telling porkies. . .

Where are all this things that people say are happening? Cruising around checking all the mentioned systems all day and havent find a single thing...

There's an old riddle about 'one always lies, one always tells the truth', so how do you solve it?

You could ask what the other would say, and do the opposite.

Quick thoughts on what we learnt from Kohl and Dillon

Kohl - Friend lies system is M Class

Dillon - Lat 34, binary Pulsar, Rocky Planet

So could we be looking for something on Lat 34 on a Rocky Planet in a System with binary M class stars

A GUIDE TO AVOID BEING GANKED AND ENJOY INSTEAD - DO LIKE ME:

reach the closest Hi Tech system to Apademak (Teppanik in my case), leave your beloved ship there, and buy and equip a Torpedo Viper :)
Remember to equip C1 beam turrets and C2 Torpedoes. Then all A rated, except Sensors and Life Support (D). 3A Shield cells. Double Chaff. Around 200K Cr rebuy.

You'll enjoy flying around THEM with your beam turrets always firing, while you fly around, around and around, chaffing. When their shields eventually goes down, FIRE THE FOUR TORPEDOES.

Be happy! :D

P.S. I'm in Apademak right now, if someone wants to check my Torpedo Viper. ;)

If we are talking logic problems, it typically means that one of the sets of answers is used in opposite cases, which combined with the other sets of honest ones provides the unique solution.
