That said, there's no need to start another thread: the only reason we did it in the past was just the 10K posts limit, that now is no more.
Even if we start a new thread, nothing will change the fact that there are almost 100k posts overall:
what I'll do is just copy and paste the FP in place (very tricky cause I'm not a mod so I have to reserve the first posts with the help of a mod, so if I can avoid it again please...) and everything will start again unchanged, with the new thread reaching 1000 pages in a few days again.

I maintain other threads in other forums too, and a couple of them have thousands of pages (Game of Thrones anyone?). No problem.

So we've gotten confirmation that there are secrets such as the Formidine rift currently in the game that nobody has discovered. I'm going to assume then that the story elements (data caches etc.) necessary to find these secrets also exist. Therefore, I'm loading up my ship with 5 tons of Lavian brandy, 5 tons of Tobacco, 5 tons of narcotics, and 1 ton of fish just for the hell of it and I'm setting off on a totally wild goose chase.      waiting for delivery missions. I want to be space Indiana Jones. Wish me luck CMDRs.

No, it was encoded in those interviews as clues because its a game, call it treasure hunting or whatever, but a game it is. No-one gets the answers at the beginning of a game, that takes the fun out of it.

It all depends what we find to be fun. I don't mind a puzzle here and there but I'm finding the continuing use of cryptic puzzles, codes and the like that takes me out of the game to be pretty lame. If I want to engage in such activities I can buy some lateral thinking puzzle books or do the times cross word. Its simply being used in place or real game content. I'm rather bored of it, don't enjoy it, and its a shame because finding whatever is to be found shouldn't be so tedious. But hey, at least others are having fun.

Maybe I should think about heading back to the rift. Did find a lot of EL when I was last there.

Sadly. None of them had what we were looking for.

My team and I were starting to check a few things out in the pisces constellation thanks to that photo. I don't know everything about it, I was the one with the long range ship. When I get some info i'll let you know but we were able to get 2 bits of info before we parted for rest. Everything relating to fish might be pointing to the pisces constellation and the one of seven and hunstman riddles may be related to the Orion constellation as Orion was a great huntsman and there are seven stars in the Orion constellation. I don't know who the the huntsman is chasing of the mother but i'm intrested in Saiph and i'm going to go check it out. i'm not reading back to see if anyone else came up with this or if i'm a fool.

I think we really need to figure out what those numbers are. This drawing is clearly a map. I think the Taurus symbol here is pointing to the nebula, near the pleiades and the Algiz rune might actually be point to the Algiz system. Trying to find an orientation of the map where it makes sense. But it's never gonna work if we can't find what the center is meant to be. I think if we can crack the digits then we can find the center of the map

The clues should actually have been IN the game IMHO.

What is the other symbol on the pape? the one just to the right of the center?

Well, on the whole Orion thing in the myth Orion fell in love with Merope, daughter of Oenopion and princess of Chios. We know Merope has something to do with the UA and UP activity. Not to keep going back to Orion but I think it's a huge part and something we should be checking.

hmmmm yeah that seems pretty likely doesn't it. Except that the Corvus constellation isn't represented regionally in the galactic map. Had to search for the brightest star, Gienah, to find it. I just don't think there's any way to map this out without knowing the center. I'm not getting anywhere trying to crack these numbers either.

edit2: that seems unlikely considering the immense distance between Mintaka /Alnitak and Epsilon Orionis. Some ~1000 lys further away

I have been working on the numbers as well. Orion got the hammer of Kedalion from Vulcan(system in game controled by the feds with 1 star, 1 planet and 2 stations) his mother was said to be Euryale(system in game, no clue what's there)

And I think i'm going to hit the belt I guess see what I can find.
