Yes, actually, I've been reading the first page of the last 5 incarnations of this thread, minus the whiny about insta-feel-good-missing, the attempted hijackings of this thread lately and all the rest. This moves so increddibly fast that i would highly recommend - if you are ok using outside sources - to use the eddb https://eddb.io/commodity/10 and refresh every odd minute or so.

ok im gona put this in spoiler's cause i posted this allready but it has gone away unnoticed with the flow of the forum
and heres why im reposting this:
the reason is that even whindout the last 3 clues i was able to put some more puzzle pices into the jigsaw puzzle we have now
and i feel that with some other cmdr's who are not going araund with the cg that much we coud get some more pices in place.

i came up with some new info made up with the clue's we have but its not much of a narrowing down

Anyway here it is:

cross-reference ing the crashed ship pic from the gamescom messages with our current info
came up to get me one more nail into the dillon is lieing coffin because:

the ship is crashed on a planet that by the colors hard but can be determined its an ice planet
its also looks like to be in a crater or near a mountain range that has a part of it missing in the middle

we can also determine that this is the site cause there is a cobra on the bottom left wich can be granger
afterall hes the one wo found this first.
after he found the crashed ship the "incident" happend wich i assume is the 4th gamescom message where we can see a white cobra

Pleiades Sector ON-T c3-12. Planet 2.

It's a little closer than I've been looking for: 85.73ly from Merope.

(Also, I'm still terribly unlucky with USS spawns, not found one here yet, but since how close it is, I'm fairly confident they will).

The cleaned up surface image on the first page - is that a crashed Anaconda in front of the other ship / unknown structure?

If the object in the left-bottom of the frames is a Cobra, the scale wouldn't be right for an Anaconda, although I do see the shape you outlined...
