You have to be there LIVE, to notice that the whole shipwreck presents some phosphorescent green reflexes, very clear under direct light.
The same green we've seen in the teaser Video with the cobra and the unknown ship ;)

Why, in situations like this, is the standard human reaction to "prod it with a stick". Seriously, when was this ever a good idea that turned out brilliant? :D :D ;)

Yes

"Drop some lead on it" was the phrase used to announce their intentions

Only they used lasers, which I don't think contain lead

done, dropped some autocannon rounds... Nothing happened, this thing is dead, no response to scans, emp, laser, guns, even from srv.

Sorry, RL chose to intervene and got me delayed a bit. Going to try non destructive approaches first, then trying to double the reported audio effect. Recording as well.

UA and UP are from different aliens.. These are Thargoids. And UA UP are not from them. Nothing will happen. You can be sure in that.

- a rather interesting approach to 'science'. Even the gamey kind. Not sure ruling things out based on assumptions that are still not proven and highly debatable are an effective way to learn anything.

Can we get some confirmation whether or not this is relevant anymore:

I spent two days decoding this and came to a conclusions that i think is quite solid, but sources are that this Kerrash is some sort of official attention for Frontier, Seems ridiculous to think this is a troll, wasting my and other peoples time.
If I can get confirmation that this leads somewhere I'll post my findings.

wait though, what was all that about "after the incident I woke up far away" malarky. Was that a lie? Is this the far away? where did the incident happen then? huh? what? we never got answers

Not meaning to sound...rude...

If this was all that was at the end of a massive treasure hunt, I'm glad it turned up early.

We practically knew this was going to be a crashed ship from all the Gamescom coverage. And it turns out to be - static wreck of an unknown ship?

hmmm.... MB said this is the end of the hunt, but obviously that doesn't mean the end of the mystery.

Is it just me, or does it seem like what crashed here is hollow? The central hexagon doesn't seem to be the heart of the structure so much as the cap.

Or is it something with a tiny center and long reaching appendages?

Or... could we be looking at two different objects? Is there anything around to indicate that maybe this isn't all part of one thing? Maybe it crashed into something else?

This. Also, what is with the whole "blacking out and waking up somewhere else" thing? Is this something we can experience as commanders given the right variables are in place? I say we continue the CGs and see if anything else about "the incident" comes to light from it.... also, maybe hovering around the planet could reveal a USS with something related to this there? The other leak with the white cobra from gamescom was in space afterall...

We have been told that nothing more will be added before 2.2, but that does not mean that some further answers are not already in-game.

Although yeah: Nothing here seems capable of that, in either a literal or meta-game [rebuy screen] sense.

Was 'the incident' simply finding this thing, already cold and dead?

I asked this question about 10 pages back- a flash of green light, and then they woke up?

The chronology of events needs to be established, as an angry and very much alive alien warship is coming....

To be honest i would of been more excited had it been a stationary disco ball with green shard of light.. its a bit boring to look at. Doesnt emit any noises, if it really has writing on it il say good luck to whoever translates it because you will need a phd to figure that crap out i suspect. On a side note please whoever tweaked the SRV please revert it.. mine is now stuck in the environment.. im pointing at a star with two wheels in the ground.. this never used to happen, why break something that wasnt broken in the first place.

Still was a fun chase if not badly scripted and organised by folks who really are not in the clue department, specially when it comes to what we as players are willing to do. i swear you guys didnt think we would travel across your galaxy yet we did, and we saw all those locked regions which for something that far away still puzzles me even now. A fun 3 days filled with more hype and gestures than what was really needed. a crashed ship, without any tip off's. Oh wait these 3 npcs where the tip offs.. you told us this was going to happen long before it actually did i just cant believe you went to all this effort just to do these tip offs.. i think your event department needs to go back and rewrite/rethink things a bit here frontier.
