So UA bombing just got nerfed.

Regardless of your option it's a far better example of griefing - I don't think killing players via actual pvp is greifing in any context unless rules are somehow being abused.

I do think the speed limit vid is griefing - I also think is absolutely hilarious - because that dog is just so adorable.
Well its griefing when it causes you to lose a match. Mind you those were people on the same team and not against each other.

This stuff jumped the shark a loooong time ago.

Nerf is fair and balanced, but jesus, the path it took to get here, everyone (literally everyone) needs to have a long hard look at themselves.

Maybe getting traders nerfed because they're griefing my BGS gameplay is a reality now...

why would they be idiots to attack jaques' station? I'm still not convinced jaques is the real jaques or that FD has figured out what story they want to go with regarding his maybe retconned maybe not retconned disappearance and discovery.

If someone finds it amusing to attack a station or someone to some actual effect in the game then that's good.

You got plenty more people who do nothing but jump and honk and call it exploring that accomplish really absolutely nothing since every system is pointless to venture to that doesn't have a station. Who's being stupider in terms of how they chose to spend their time in the game?

*looks at another 810 jumps just to reach back to sag A, let alone the bubble* yup. Exploration... the fastest way to see through the hype.

jaques is immune now we think anyway, or has such a massive reserve of meta alloys that he can keep any damage at bay, and the research potential of course. Its the unknown probes that are of interest but tnothing has happened there as of yet

Been a while since you went to the UA shell and/or Barnacle sites?

Last time I did a spot of UA delivery was about a week or two ago. Everything seemed business as usual (although it took a bit of time to spawn in the USS's).

As to MA's.. I think it was part of the Hutton effort to repair Al-Din.

I thought Jaques was immune cos there's no black market to sell UAs to. Or was I misinformed? I haven't been out there yet.

I'm glad I'm playing the WoW Legion expansion. Servers just went down so I came to see what's up with ED. Same old same old, game allows player to shut off parts of the game so other players can't play. Brilliant "emergent gameplay." Same way that DDoS attacks against FD's servers would be "emergent gameplay", right?

No. DDoS attack is illegal in most of the civilized countries.
Players making other players' lives hard via in-game mechanics can be called many things, but ultimately it IS legitimate.

Not trying to say your post is depressing or anything but your doing a good job with the sodium Debby downer.

What is the ratio of people running the missions compared to the number of "you aren't playing the game right UA crybabies"? 100 to 1?

So returning form your Sothis run with a hold full of MA will not only slow the malfunctioning process... but could stop it entirely if almost every space-trucker brings back MA.

Works for me.

Brilliant game design. Space truckers keep the UA bomber scrubs busy.

I only see one set of crybabies. The squeaky wheel got the grease.

wait for them to notice how FD has buffed UA bombing due to the new UA spawning, don't expect any new post in the forum about it.

What I dont get is that some of you guys like to see things stirred up WHATEVER it takes.
"Shoot things, bomb things, kill people. Its good because it stirs things up. It's player driven content."

What is it with you guys? Not able to enjoy what you have?

I'll explain. Here is a UA bomber sitting in a car, eliciting concerned reactions from some Sothis runners.

Hey, I've no issues with the introduction of the MA's. Merely the timing of their arrival as a silver bullet.

Ask any commander who did Powerplay for Archon Delane. They had months of all their stations being turned off by the White Templars and a few other groups, and were having their requests for some sort of counter ignored. All of a sudden Obsidian Orbital goes a bit squiffy, a few people complained and firstly Frontier tried to sweep it under the carpet, then when they realised they couldn't they released the silver bullet.

Regarding the other things: I was merely drawing other examples of why the 'emergent content' player-base as you wish to call us, get angry. As I've said, we don't mind losing, what we do mind is the moving of goalposts due to lots of forum handwringing.

If we were, this kind of change wouldn't have occurred.

I am very glad to see that someone remembers we were the first to use the UA as a massive weapon. :D

BTW, we were never griefer, we took that war initiative against Archon Delaine's capital at some point, to escalate the war and make history. People called us terrorist, war criminals and all, but we did what we thought right as Imperial tradionalists against the Archon Delain threat. It's now part of our proud history and that event was so fun. They never saw us coming with that stategy, we reallly caugth them by surprise.

Really? Does frontier have special dev team dedicated to getting rid of all fun in their game?
