Another update to the leader board.

In the Hauler class we have two new entries firstly from Aken B. who briefly held the top spot in "It Plummets" only to be knocked into second place shortly afterwards by Alec Turner with "Gravity Grave".

In Open/unlimited we have one new time for the board. Aken B. not content to test a hauler to breaking point has also managed an entry in his Viper mkIII Spirit of Shenanigan. Once again he has taken the top spot and this time retains it... for the moment

Good work CMDRs. The Pilot's Federation is proud of you!

At least it gives me the idea of what I'm "supposed" to be doing, unfortunately it's not happening like that for me.
It seems when I manage to land the ship, I tend to overshoot the station on return. It's probably a combination of rushing and having Wayne Static (RIP) screaming at me.
I'm yet to break the sub 10 mins barrier, although I can foresee some "racer" coming in under 8 (or maybe even 7) minutes.

Another update - three new times today all in the regulation hauler.

Firstly we have CMDR Polly (who never crashes) in Vita Brevis with an initial time of 9:03 in the Southern area of the table. Next we have CMDR Talwin Hawkins aka TIP Talon with a sterling mid-table effort in HellsBells2. A mere 1 second behind third place. Finally we have CMDR Backer #-4112 shooting into second place in Taxi B90 a mere 8 seconds behind Alec Turner in first.

Will hopefully be hauling my T9 over there later, could be expensive!

Your avatar has never been more appropriate. Poor kerbals. (this is exactly what my wife said to me when I described the race)

I especially like the slight wiggling of the "ca-boom" right before disintegration.
