12 TFlop TitanX

Good informative post, and agree on the above. :)

I tried both and currently i am using a mix. I use 0.85 and 1.7.
If you go 1.0 ingame and 1.5 SteamVR you get pretty bad shimmering and the text is not all that clear. The picture looks sharper but once you check out the number and text from the destination you got locked in front of you it is not as easily readable as when using 0.65 and 2.0 SteamVR. I do however like the sharper look from the ingame AA.
With 0.85 and 1.7 i found a compromise that works for me.

One thing that annoys me is the seemingly lack of VR reviews for the new titan card. Although I've seen quite a bit of 4k reviews I'm not sure how that translates to vr. Also I have the HTC Vive so that would narrow it down even further! I mean, how many reviewers would happen to review that card for this game using that headset?

Have a look at HardOCP's series of VR benchmarks => http://www.hardocp.com/reviews/vr/

They benchmark on All Pascal and selected Maxwell cards as well as the most VR centric AMD cards.

Of course if you meant Elite Dangerous VR reviews on the Titan XP then this link won't help you either.

Yeah, I'm currently using a 980, so I would guess a Titan X Pascal would be a significant jump in quality. Also, according to recent comments on reddit 2.2 will feature some improvements on the vive.
