Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

I suppose it would be too easy if the Aug power thing was more ... well more.

Anyone done the Palisade Bank? Spent 4 hours in there last night trying to get everywhere and see everything and I know I've failed in that. Good section.

Quite disappointed with this one, I'm afraid - after seeing a lot of footage and the whole micro-transaction scheme (which wasn't in the press release, mind you - SE deliberately hid that to avoid showing it to public before the actual release, what's that if not a lie?) I don't think I'll be picking this game up anytime soon.

You do have the OPTION of micro-transactions, but so far, I doubt they will be needed to enjoy the game. You might need them if you insist on maxing out all your powers on the same run but, if you go 'kill-em-all', then stealth, then shadow on different run-through's you'll never need to.

Cleared it out last night. No deaths, but there are big piles of snoozing guards on each floor :).

I couldn't reach one bit as I needed a card (Versalife IIRC), but the google gods say I can only get that in one of the proper missions and there is no alternative.

Thanks man. That's the very card I need. I was all over that place looking for it or another way to access the area.

No problem, I've gone everywhere it was possible to get to so far (bound to have missed something to be realistic), then gave up and did a search for the above info.
.
I'm searching and running side missions trying to get every scrap of experience and goodies I can before trying the next storyline mission (SM04). I've got over 30 grand in credits, and so many guns/ammo I'm having to sell most of it (it helps that I'm on a stealth/no kill run). A lot of the standard augs are already maxed out. BTW, there's a guy that sells praxis for 10,000 credits each so I really don't think the micro-transaction option will be needed at all.

Interesting info there. I haven't seen the praxis seller yet but that's no surprise I feel like I need to revisit a lot of previous areas to 100% them now that my abilities have improved especially hacking.

I'm just at the Golem City hub. Love it. This is really pulling me in to the universe. I found myself feeling sorry for the folk there and what they've had to fallen to. Really nicely designed area all round.

OK. Finished it, and I must say it picks up quite a bit once night falls. Still died quite a few times due to the cover controls, but overall, as good as the first game and a nice setup for the next. Oh and Jezzah, I hope you've found the praxis seller by now. ;)

*Edit* According to Steam, Human Revolution took me 38 hours to compete, whilst Mankind Divided took me 52, and there's certainly room for another play through, plus I decided to go (very) violent and storm the last mission for speed.

Nice Lobstris mate. I'm at 38 hours myself but have just gotten back to Prague for the third time. Shan't say anymore cos I can't find a spoiler button and won't ruin it for others. Any idea how much longer I have roughly lobs?

I did find the praxis seller. Have to say though that this "suffers" from the same thing as the last game. Where it was mega easy to max out the tech tree where you got to a point about halfway where you spend points in things that you probably wouldn't bother with so that aspect of the progression of character dies for me. In the last game the story and setting weren't enough to overcome that flaw but in this one the story and setting have kept it buoyant and interesting.

Did anyone else paly the amazing multiplayer version of the original game?

Id love to get back in touch with folk from it.

I was JoePineapples[TCN], [DEA], [APC], [ABC],[SA] and a bunch of other clans. Played it solidly for seven years.

Never underestimate the power of the multi tool

You've probably got 25-33% of the game still to go in terms of missions and stuff to find. But the last 1/3rd is also where the gloves came off for me and I stopped attempting to ghost as much as possible.

I really enjoyed the first playthough, looking forward to starting New Game+. I went for a no-kill run, and it was great having all the tools to pull it off. I thought it was a great follow-up to Human Revolution, did a great job with the story.

It did turn into a much better game than I initially gave it credit for. Story was a little heavy handed, but at least it's starting to tie in with the original game now (or at least you can see where it's going - I don't think Jensen or Eliza are going to get a happy ending...)

Happy ending? No chance! :D I prefer that though, dystopian stories rarely pull off a good happy ending :)

Because I have enjoyed DX:MD and that I us MS paint for just about everything, some fan art I made way back after they announced the new game...
