The EEF, that's like the contra's with a self-funding onionhead for weapons scam false flag op right? "Hi we're here to help with the problem we created and btw we'll never leave." It's getting pretty clear Emperor's Dawn is a Petrayus controlled organization like the relationship between the Isi and the Taliban. Of course the whole thing's been staged,,,first the demonizing in the press,,,fake assassination attempt,,,now arrest to be followed by show trial and execution. Never gets old.
Where's the article that said Salome's being put on trial,,,,can't find it,,,know I read it,,,not in galnet?

Agreed, I was surprised when I read the newsletter & went back through Galnet for the last week to check. Wonder if FD are having Galnet problems again.
It will probably hit Galnet on Monday. Wouldn't be the first time that the newsletter scooped a story before it hit Galnet.

The Children of Raxxla will not stand down and accept this. Operation Haunting, aimed at the Cemiess Imperial Society has beared fruit. Due to their actions the bourgeoining trade in Cemiess has grounded to a halt when authorities had to put the system in Lockdown. We will continue our work to prolong the lockdown as long as needed if Salomé isn't released.
Everyone who has ties to Salomé is invited to join and help us. The empire is covering something about the Rift up and it is up to us to just let it happen or stand together against it.

The role of the Night Soil Operative has a long and noble tradition, stretching back to Egyptian times.
It would be horrible as well if while the cool kids are away getting a leg up learning new tricks in beta others took advantage of that and disrupted things in the bubble like for example finding the capitals of some of the Imperial Powers shut down from UA bombing say in Cemiess or Achenar, Capital, Dawes Hub. I'm sure not even Federals would attempt such a thing as trying to partially paralyze the Empire at this historic juncture as tension between the two are already heightened.
Is it really worth that for the Empire to put some silly girl Petreus seems frightened of on trial at Capital for treason and attempted murder,,, I wasn't aware Petreus was a member of the Imperial Family? This man's in charge of the Imperial navy when he's terrified of a single little girl who gave up all her Imperial positions and rights for a life of wandering aimlessly around deep space. He's afraid of her, when he never leaves ground in anything less than a Capitol Ship with heavily armed escort. We leave the defense of the Empire to rely on his bravery? He's already bleeding support to be the 2nd least popular power in the galaxy, he must be going for gold to be the least.
Could be an interesting trial, should the Empire be foolish enough to ever let it happen.
It may even leave some to question the judgement of the Emperor?
Can't see Petreus coming out of this looking good, or still an Admiral.

How else do you get things done in this game (and by that I mean getting attention from FD) to be honest?
UA bombing got nerfed once it affected everyone's favorite money pit, heat being looked at after players were camping CGs just using it, etc.

In fact, Drew put a facebook post up yesterday to watch Galnet on Monday.
I'm looking forward to Drew's book- I want to see the explanation of all the clues we've been given & failed to understand (which seems to be pretty much all of them). Assuming we get an explanation, we may not have found "it" by then!

Unfortunately it seems to be the only way "the game" works to allow a player groups presence to be felt ... by blowing up other factions ships. In fact most of the mission givers encourage such behaviour when they don't have missions to give.
We'd have loved to be able to search for Salomé in Cemiess and the neighboring systems or solve a puzzle that ultimately leads to her location. Both of that was not possible. And we wouldn't stick our heads in the sand letting them play out their cover-up-operation!
