SDC live Event: Let's Pew!

I wonder what would Open be like after 2.2 hits, with its anti-FSD rockets and all... One thing I know for sure - Solo and Private would become much, much more crowded.
Well, I doubt Solo could be crowded.. lol

I'll be sure to bring my finest sidewinder to this event.
Anything bigger might pose too much of a challenge. :p

Sounds like it could be fun, I'll prob turn up in my Eagle so won't be too effective :p would be fun to try to protect traders too, that's if they aren't all in solo lol.
Hope you guys don't start disrupting that charity event though.

Will you all be there?

:p

Lemme see how far out I am next time I log on. As long as it not some ridiculous distance I am all about helping suffering Federation citizens.

EDIT: Just checked with the INARA site and it looks like the target station is run by slave traders. Looks like a job for Clippers and Cutters!

The problem with those cmdrs moving to private or solo to trade is that it makes it boring for those of us who actually want to help the goods runners. And also expensive, my insurance only covers about a hundred or so wrecked ships.

For those that think Solo is to crowded, I officially propose the new game mode 'Alone'. No players, no NPCs, only you.:)

It's not those that switch to solo or private that make it boring for you.
It's those that invite you to a dance and then dodge you all night to chase after soft targets (which as ganker, you only need to open your contacts to check the ration of soft vs. hard targets in your instance, whereas someone trying to find specific gankers has to scan each and every ship - by the time you could have a contact, they're most likely already gone - low wake-high wake .. tadaaa.. good chance of new instancing - wait, does this belong into the "PvP tactics" thread?) and switch instances to avoid PvP focused players.

Lame?

Thank you for all the support commanders! It's great to see the community come together despite all of our differences. I'm looking forward to seeing everybody in the Kalana system for a weekend of friendly fights. Make sure to have a few rebuys and a tasty beverage on stand by.

Huh, I'm normally on the squishy and explodey end so I'm not very experienced with this, sounds like you know what your talking about though and it also sounds pretty pesky.
The role I'm best at in this sort of situation is usually bait so will just have to see what happens I suppose lol.
