Why is it that when I need my Anaconda it's 22,000ly away in Jacques?

I was playing Cobra skittles with the Corvette in a high intensity Combat Zone with my mate Mash last night... boosted into a gang of 7 of them who were hassling Mash in his Vulture and got 4 bouncing off the shields and spinning away to explode...great fun [yesnod]

I also discovered that a Corvette can fly around inside an Imperial interdictor class capital ship...zipped inside the big ring of the primary power generator and took that out along with a few thermal vents and turrets. Mash and I had the thing withdrawing from the battle as he took the last thermal vent out...

I don't usually do CZ's much, but that was great fun. The RNGineered niceness of the Corvette was completely awesome, I couldn't believe how much hostile fire it was soaking up... Multiple PAC's, thermal weapons, beam lasers, rails and Frag cannons... not to mention the mass of fire coming from the Interdictor without even dropping the shields.

I must admit... I have a new respect for the Corvette. It always seemed a pure toy to me before since I don't spend all my time shooting stuff

Given that your 'conda's at Jaques are you gonna join us for 'Go West', Mole? You know, since we're headed that way in Alpha stage.

I just joined this wing (pending), here and @ Inara. I'm interested in learning more about Go West, but can't find anything at the Inara site. Maybe when I'm accepted into the wing there, I'll be able to find more about it. I'm currently tying some loose ends in Atata, and other systems, then I'll be heading out to Jaques again. I modded my iClipper for the trip, and my Conda and Asp are at Jaques, waiting for my return.

As for where he is, right now, FSM knows!! PM him on our INARA wing, that's your best bet.
He really would appreciate it though, especially knowing that we're thinking of him and making an effort, that he's not on his own. (Just maybe don't Honk on the way to where he is! Nah, I'm sure if you get in touch he'll be able to tell you how to not tread on his toes. (sorry for sounding so cryptic, but he's doing something good, and it needs a little protecting)

Comms contact initiated. Now that I understand his intention, I must admit I am reluctant to make ship contact. Just in case ... That and I have discovered an undiscovered black hole plus other shinies not 250 LYs away from Jacques

I just joined this wing (pending), here and @ Inara. I'm interested in learning more about Go West, but can't find anything at the Inara site. Maybe when I'm accepted into the wing there, I'll be able to find more about it. I'm currently tying some loose ends in Atata, and other systems, then I'll be heading out to Jaques again. Have I seen it?! I still marvel at how easily I could see it getting that way. It won't be long before we have some semblance of it, unless we get off our butts and get off this planet.

Totally agree, Tom. We're a mess as a species, though I think the film's 'twist' is unlikely given what we're able to grow in labs these days. (I'm trying desperately not to give the film away for the two or three people who've either not seen it, or heard about it.

I'll head out to Jaques soon, I want to be there before 2.2 drops. I'm expecting many changes there, and I'd like to explore them. I'll keep up with the goings on and catch up with you for Go West.
