"always supposing the ones out there have been fully solved"

Thanks Mr Brookes. Now I feel like we have to go back through everything again.

Wish we could all pre-download stuff. Given that size, my internet connection and the fact I'll have to get home first before I can start downloading, I'll only get to play again tomorrow afternoon sometime.

Doesn't help that I'm way out in the Formadine Rift at the moment. I foresee long hours ahead... ;)

started with 16MB/s, then 0,7MB/s now 0,1MB/s - I bet FDs servers need extra cooling upon all the traffic ;)

Explanation:
16Mb/s is while your update is just syncing local files, no download is occurring.
0,7 > 0,1 Mb/s is while your update is truly downloading ;)

Did anyone checked any system map to see if there are new FORBIDDEN/ILLEGAL ITEMS/COMMODITIES?
I remember we discovered the existence of the Unknown Probe that way... something new with "unknown" in its name?
Or "mysterious" perhaps?! ;D

You'll only get the data as fast as Frontier's servers can get it out. With torrents, you're relying on other peoples upload speeds, which are generally poor to begin with.

Also, there is a difference between Mb/s and MB/s.
