Patch Notes Update The Guardians Update: 2.2.01

I'm not totally sure the ship transfer costs needed to be nerfed. They weren't CHEAP, but they were doable compared to the time it would take to go and move the ship yourself. Now you really will find Vultures in Colonia. Though, if that's what Frontier WANTS, then this was a necessary change. Otherwise it would have cost tens of millions to ship a vulture out there.

They need to drop the cost even more, but limit it to 500ly.

Nothing about AMD cards, i still having problems with sttutering that wasnt present in 2.1 , the game is almost unplayable. Tried everything you can imagine trying to make the game stable. I'm using a R9 390X MSI.

Another 390X (Asus) user here mate. Not having those problems myself. It's as smooth as ever for me.

Bring back Sothis/Ceos payouts. Why now bother to even go so far from the bubble if they do not pay like before? All Missions generally need buffed else we may as well all Bounty Hunt respawning NPCs. FD must make reason to the high payouts else we will all be doomed to play SOLO and try to hold onto our precious assets. In fact it's high time that PvP was made DAMAGES ONLY in OPEN or add a high bounty with ONLINE NEAREST 5 MOST WANTEDS.

Please don´t. Work for your money.

It's a small thing, but, THANK YOU! [big grin]

I know this has been around for a long time but it really bugs ME to have the lat/long coordinates in degrees south and west, normally (in every convention I know of - fully happy to be educated) they're degrees North and East - So flying North (0) should make them more postive and flying south (180) more negative, East more positive (90) and west (270) more negative.

Perhaps ED uses true magnetic poles (opposite of what's present on Earth - the north pole is a south magnetic pole (hence why north ends of magnetic needles point to it). But that seems weird.

How about extending the Waldo CG for an hour or two because of the downtime caused by the update? :)

This [up]

Was going to post myself but you beat me too it, what with the downtime / patchtime for those of us on slow connections many of us have missed some shipping time here and its soo close ;)

Don't transport them in space coach? Cobra can have passenger cabins too, you know. Devs didn't say it's a bug. In fact they are looking after more evidence. It is not a bug. You got nailed for transporting wanted passenger. Next time don't do that.

Fd have said its a bug in another post. Should be a fine not insta death

So what kind of solution are you offering then? Really?

Because if killing the guy for being wanted (as all wanted are punished) is wrong then... what?
- A massive fine? (most likely no since then missions of that type would become "not viable"
- A small fine (then its just stupid and a nuisance)
- ?

You are a victim of your own lack of attention.

And finally - its just a game. You are not loosing anything in reality. The time spent in game is not more worth to the world - disregarding the amount of monopoly money you have in a computer game.

I wonder if it would be better/more realistic if, when scanned carrying a wanted passenger, you are given a timer for compulsory docking.

After docking the customer is arrested, you get no payment and a fine for carrying the passenger.

If you don't dock in the timer or if you leave the station vicinity then you get a bounty.

you missed - fixed Mission Board payouts too low.

Seriously, open sandbox universe.. BUT you MUST do as we want YOU to do to gain credits and right now WE want YOU to do passenger missions... No im not talking about CEOS/SOTHIS - im talking about all the Missions except PASSENGER missions are %90 less payout than before. Pff

Reduced the module and ship transfer costs by half! why!? I thought they were in a good place... not complaining just curious, did you guys not think they were suitable? I think big ships should pay through the roof to be moved... coming from an owner of a big ship with far to many creds :p

Given that it's generally quicker to go get the ship yourself, thanks to the immersion at all costs crowd, price is irrelevant as far as i'm concerned.

I tend to think that this was something that missed the 2.2 build lockdown (which obviously has a lot in it, apart from ship transfers) but tend to agree .. I didn't think the prices were bad 2.2.0 so I hope this is the change that was talked about during beta. and that that's more or less it now. 50% is a pretty massive change.

Not true of course because you need .. needed .. a ship to do that. Less to do with immersion I think than a level of realism that means some strategic (game) thinking.

That´s simply a wrong statement, Sir. We have lots of high paying missions in 2.2. You just haven´t found them yet. And I will not tell you :)

I could see a hefty fine being appropriate if caught transporting a wanted person or even being attacked with a chance to flee and escape but insta death is obviously a bug.

I mean why have it be an option of transporting people wanted or otherwise if it just means you will die instantly the next time you dock. Makes no logical sense...at least to me.

I second this, I too lost 9m on my First Passenger Mission from insta-death, What happed in my case is I left the mission station got scanned and Everything was fine no crime detected, Great :) Did the Adventure and Returned back to the mission Station Got scanned "Passenger was Wanted" Got insta-Deathed in 4 seconds.... He Became wanted, He left not wanted and returned wanted if thats not a bug Please explain how?. I'd love too See Fines Rather than kill contracts. on a final point, I think there should be both Non-Wanted passengers and potential Wanted missions with the potential missions have a Higher Reward because the risks are higher like Smuggling missions,
