Solved. It was the exe.

So: I am not putting the exe-link up here, but you may be able to help your friend by sending them the file.

FD should just pack their patch into executable installer and then create a torrent of it. It is obvious their servers can't manage such load.

I'm in a system that is high-tech, and I'm allied to everyone in it. Before, haulage missions could be 1-3 million, now they're around 30k. A bit of a bind when you've just got your Python, and want to upgrade it to "everything sparkly" at 16 mil a pop, while staying away from passengers due to fear of insta-kill.

It seems it's actually got worse, missions don't seem to be offering bonuses for speed/NPC kills anymore today.

EDIT: Just got the first bonus in about 10 missions, so they are working, my bad.

Lucky you. For me it's been the same long waiting times and occasional nogos.

Same upgrade issues here. Tried all the above suggestions. Nothing works.

One of the rare times lately when I've actually had some time to sit down and play a game and the damn thing won't upgrade. :(

Ok, deleting the exe worked.

I used the alternative download and it ground to a halt for the last few minutes, but then went through

ok So heres what i did in the end and now its working, i can finaly play again.. So i did make sure to leave it on alt download, took away the exe file and also close launcher ofc, and deleted the .part and .progress files, restarted computer , and voila, when i started the update finaly it worked. Hope it helps anyone else that having problem
