They have lots of concept art. But they are only in the "actually making it" phase right now. You've seen how long Coriolis and the new station are taking and the new ships. 3d modeling like that takes time!

For the next release of Elite, players will enjoys a new type of station that is significantly larger than the ones already in the game. In the words of Braben, the new stations are "more flamboyant and higher tech."

While at one new station, which happens to be located in a new system, players are above the dust of our galaxy and able to see multiple galaxies clearly in the distance. My first impulse was to try and fly out to one, but the clarity was deceptive; the other galaxies are much too far away to travel to.

I don't think we really know what phase they really at internally (and I don't really care to tell you the truth, the game is already fully funded). What I do know though, is that they are focused on making the game..C:

I do hope that someone at the FD stand is asking people who have played ED at E3 what they thought of the game and are recording it on camera for an "Impressed with ED@E3 montage!" as that would be a great thing to post on the Frontier YouTube Channel!

Just saying. Keep up the fine work folks. :)

Just watched the Gamespot interview about Valkyrie and they were talking about the DK2. I would imagine that ED is being show with the same kit.

Just wish they'd hurry and start making some more. August seems a very long way away.
