I think that would have worked!

Was there any attemp to purposefully "Americanize" the poster though? They really do go booyah for words like freedom, and blazing trails.

Was it different in its original British?

Original:

"Elite Dangerous: It's this rather nice game we are making. Come try it out, incase it turns out to be your cup of tea.

Cordially yours, Frontier"

Oh, what a missed opportunity! That's what they should have done! I'm serious! They really should have! :)

Michael: Will one of those stations be at the same place (17 Draconis) in the final game? It seems quite far out!

Well, thats about 411LYs away. Not THAT far out. ;)

Its also a very interesting Dual Star system system. Sounds like a good place to put a support station for exploration...

With respective temperatures of 10,500 and (estimated) 9400 Kelvin, 17 Dra A and B shine with the light of 132 and 40 Suns, which lead to radii of 3.4 and 2.4 times the solar value. Both are fast spinners, A and B with projected equatorial values of 217 and 231 kilometers per second, which lead to rotation periods under 0.8 and 0.5 days, the masses (from structure and evolutionary theory) coming in at 3.1 and 2.4 Suns. Separated by at least 425 Astronomical Units, from Kepler's Laws, they must take at least 3800 years to orbit each other.

Yeah, I'm just trying to get a sense of how far out from Sol there'll be stations like this. And will there be any hidden ones, not initially on the map?

Like pirate bases and hidden military bases? Yep!

Here is some official concept art for a pirate base on an asteroid.

Yes, and have free tea for everyone who came by their booth! :)

Interesting Social Experiment for another, maybe next time, show?

Artificial credits bump market in a chosen commodity, watch "live fulfilment" by online players ..

But better a price on the head, of a chosen "remote elite ambassador" (booked to be online in timezone);
Newsfeed soon reads; CMDR xyz (Federal Alliance) killed (in the LP 98-132 system) by CMDR zyx (Empire Alliance or etc.)

First confirmed kill wins a junket prize ... ? :p

EDIT: Do I win five pounds? :D
