OK, I'm taking a break from ED while they clean up.

ok, I try passenger missions...and I get a bug so that the second leg doesn't exists.... :eek:

...so I go to an alien planet, only to have a game crash that makes my ship disappear and strand me in a srv. (I suicided and ended up paying 24 million in replacement costs) :(

...so I Jump the 22 jumps to Maia to play the CG. Only to find THIS is bugged and all the CZ are gone. [blah]

...*sigh* I'm done with ED for awhile off to play something else while Frontier cleans up the release. [sour]

Yep. Bought a Beluga tried a few missions. Economy class plebs kept demanding changes to their itineraries. Like every second jump. Very annoying. In the end ran out of time and they disembarked.

So instead I decided to try and find some materials like Arsenic but something's happened to the SRV scanner... They say it now has masking due to topography and other sources... doesn't show electronic stuff any more and the ping seems to vanish.

RNGineers burned me out... And I only kept about 10 simple upgrades in total... I just can't be bothered to pick up all the stuff needed. Random missions spawning random rewards which let me get to roll on a random table of benefits followed by a random "experimental effect" and often ending up with mediocre scores. So making materials harder to find has done my head in.

I'm also going to wait this one out... When RNGineers were released, I was safely on the other side of the Formidine Rift. No such luck this time. I'm in the middle of the bubble.

So I'm taking a break from playing until multicrew (or even spacelegs if they frack the mechanics up as much as they have done with current fighter pilots mechanics).

So just getting this stright:

1. Passengers aren't cargo and that's a bad thing;
2. SRV scanner now have nuances and take terrain into account - and that's a bad thing;

Do I miss something here?

It's always the same, each new update adds "features" that mostly don't work when released, so there is a few months wait while they get cleaned up enough to be playable. And add to that unintended consequences for things that were working but get broken (no CZ for the combat CG, mission payouts dropping hugely....), it just feels like the whole BETA process is useless/pointless. I feel badly for some, the game is utterly broken (as in CTD) for them.
I like this game a lot, but this kind of thing really takes the joy out of it. It's like getting promised a new bike for xmas, and then finding out it's so busted up you have to spend 2 months tinkering with it before it's "mostly" usable. *disappointed*

Both passengers and fighters work.

There are some nagging bugs and issues, but nothing huge.

Let's stop hyperbole much with our pet issues, shall we.

It didn't delete the account, just made it inaccessible. The accounts affected have been restored.

Also it got fixed in 2.2.1

There's also the bug where a wanted NPC will deploy a clean fighter, causing any attacking ships to become wanted. This can quickly lead to player ship destruction through the police, or at very least a bounty.

"Nothing huge," huh? How 'bout that bug that deletes your account when transferring modules? Is that not game-breaking to you?

It has been fixed already. Try again.

There was. I remember it was fixed during beta.

Fixed during beta? Hardly. I ran into it after the latest hot fix (and before it, too). I've also run into several others who've had it, and submitted bug reports as well.
