yes, some are alive and the dead ones are hand placed there.

If I remember correctly the first crash site also gets a marker after being discovered, right?

not as simple as that, most are with spaces so it's " 4 d" plus the original json is one massive line I think.

Anyway I think I crossed checked the bodies for 1c 4d 5e 6f and was left with only:

Why is the Crash Site in the same manner as the one All ready known?

I seem to remember from some patch notes recently that once you've discovered a special location like this, it will then become a marker so that you can find it again easily the next time.

some of them are dead so, probably it was carrying them and they didnt survive the crash which, if true, brings a whole new valuable connection

I am still on the path that some of the UA are "dead" because they used their energy to bring down that ship (UA= Anomaly threat 4 !) = space floating mine?

The other question is what caused 2 alien ships to crash, if we find a third then it becomes a virtual certainty that we have some external cause for it.

This could be the Feds/Imps/Alliance fighting them in secret (hence the military build up in the Pleiades), or we could be looking at another race being involved

Sounds perfectly friendly and normal to me, nothing to worry about.

This would be nice but I still don't see a marker on the ruins...
