Bass shaker / butt kicker solution?

Have to say I'd be really interested in adding a tactile transducer.
Any other options out there? No one seems to have a Buttkicker 2 in stock.

Look at my signature - I rank among those who made one by themselves. It's easier than one may think.

Yeah I certainly recommend making your own. I have four Aura Bass shakers one at each corner of my rig (it's primary purpose is sim racing. But they work equally as good making you really feel like you are in the ship here. Considering the price of Aura bass shakers vs Buttkickers, I don't think I could justify the cost to get the butt kickers. They do the same thing.

I got two of mine on ebay for a steal and the other two direct from parts-express. I also have two dayton amps from them to power the shakers. Just don't put more than 50w RMS to them and you are golden.

For ease of setup and not needing a seperate amp, the subpac is great. http://subpac.com/

I have the Subpac V2 that fits on the back of the chair. You can plug your headphones directly into the subpac, or you can use audio splitting software to use usb headphones and the subpac.

In case you like DIY solutions you might wanna try the Reckhorn shakers, looks like a very good price/value but more power than Auras. Make sure you disconnected seat and floor using dampers of some sort.

I just got one yesterday, screwed it under my chair, hooked it up on my Technics amp, fiddled with Voicemeeter and... profit! The experience is quite pleasant :D And I really don't understand the issue about sound latency, I seem to get none. Next step is to get another one, because I couldn't place this one in the middle of my chair.
