PvP piracy and bounty hunting are specificly advertised as part of the game and should be expected to work properly most of the time and not every now and then.
There is a pretty huge difference, between PvP Piracy on a CMDR ferrying Cargo, after you scanned it's cargo, hunting a wanted CMDR and shooting up unarmed Explorers. The first two are okay, if you do it as RPG and so on. The latter thing is just not funny. I play along, while getting interdicted in a freighter or even an ASP rigged for Cargo. Most of the times, the CMDR interdicting gives you warnings, choices and interacts with you. In this case there is even a third possibillity: Blow yourself up deliberately. For me, i don't care about the insurance in such cases, it's about the role play. Which isn't happening, when an engineer blows up an unarmed explorer within 4 Seconds.
