Absolutely brilliant work Mengy! I figure most people will head to the Alpha so i will head to the Beta to help you look around...if there is so much as an alien foot print in the dust i will let you know!!! :)

Sol always stuck out to me because, to me, these ruins don't seem alien, not really anyway. It's my hunch that they were made by The Missing, humans who left Sol long ago, and maybe found something interesting, advanced, dangerous, something big enough for them to justify leaving ruins behind as a message to us as we follow in their footsteps.

Just a hunch I have, especially seeing how the map lines up with SOL as the pyramid point so precisely.

Could all be an outlandish coincidence too, I admit...

When I get back, I am definitely going with you Mengy to do some surface surveying. I like for this kinda thing.

Packing my ASP and gear and I'm on my way to systems you've pointed out, lets see what's there :)

Just one more thing, could you Mengy check if there is any system in the place where the "ramp" of the big circle ends? It always looked for me like it is laying on a piramid as well, maybe it's a sort of arrow or a route on the end of which we are supposed to find something.

Yeah, I figured that may have been tried before. I want to light up the whole place though. All four Relics up, all item sites, and all obelisk formations. Takes a few guys to get that together :)

PS: Awesome work Mengy. Very well thought through and documented!

Yeah. I've been thinking that The Missing were a possibility also. There just isn't enough hard evidence to point to them just yet. While some things at the site seem like human traditions, other things there don't at all. So I hope your math pans out and we get more leads. :)

And something to keep in mind: There's a pattern to the placement of the alien crash sites and ruins, mostly. They seem to like dual-orbiting planets with very low gravity. Also, they're not far from a/the main crater on a planet's/moon's surface. The Site 1 ruines are on a flat area, not far from two craters, next to a canyon. If there's anything else to be had out there, I doubt it'll be out in the middle of a flat plain out in nowhere.

has anyone thought about increasing trade into and out of maia ( in a non political way) but just to stregnthen the overall economic strength of the system regardles of government type, a few moer stations could provide additional economic resources in a fairly competitive local minor faction situation with anarchy in charge but 3 minor factions each representing one of the major powerblocsk

I'm at the first one right now. I'm looking at the landable stellar objects in the system compared to the moon with the alien ruins Site 1 to see if there's similarities in cartographic data.
