Enter my credit card number when prompted. Somehow I don't think we are getting real aliens within Horizons. Ruins and other "appetizers" will help to sell Season 3 (or whatever it will be called).

A peaceful exchange of ideas would be nice. I'm happy to let sleeping dogs lie if they're coming in peace. But if it's Thargoids there'll be no negotiating with them. One-track-mind killing machines they were, and there's no reason to believe they've changed. Back then a Cmdr had to face them alone. But now we have each other. They don't have much regard for us, and won't be expecting how well we can orgainise our selves. Systems on the front line are going to be paying big money for Merc Cmdrs. It's going to be a war that'll light up the galaxy. Some Cmdrs will perish. Those who survive will be heros... and rich.

I will enjoy that moment where we finally make contact with another intelligent life form, taking notice of the design of their ships, finding out about their culture and rich history, and then killing them for materials.
