I think FD are learning the hard way that it is impossible to please everyone, however ing everyone off is a breeze.

Relevance of a single outlier ship to TWO entire mechanics sets, then? I have repeatedly stated I would like to see an ENTIRE ship overhaul so they are consistent.
I don't know, maybe in the same way I'd like to see missions be consistent. And passenger missions. And everything else. But no, I get illogical outcomes because frontier is too busy listening to a small and very vocal group who believe their way is the golden path.
Their way is a crock of proverbale and it's resulting in atrocious outcomes. Frontier, what are you doing?

I think Momo's (no offense Mo) anecdote is the most telling.
Players crying about an activity that they chose not to participate in "affecting their game," has now been addressed and removed with the added effect of nerfing the ever living, ever loving snot out of the ENTIRE MISSION SYSTEM for the ENTIRE PLAYER BASE.

FWIW, I'm not [presently] ing about passenger missions, I made 20 million last week running them (which is pitifully low compared to other past earning rates, but i'll do), so that's alright. I'm still on about the mission board in general.
I have no comment on the mission board. It honestly looks buggered to me.
I've tried boom and "none" states, 5 figures. Popped over to a war state, lowish 6 figures, not good. It was a very low population war though and I was neutral so maybe not the best place for finding higher end combat missions. I am not sure, I do not know the mission system that well.
Just commenting more on the passenger missions because I think people are being a bit reactionary on that (as usual).
I mean I have 6 passenger missions showing on my board right (you can scroll up/down so 6 are visible in the window) now that accumulate to 190 million. =p
If I wanted to take a trip to Colonia right now it would net me 105 million, if I wanted to I could extend that by a bit out to EEMBAISK area for a further 78 mill. So 183 million right there.
edit: oh one of the other factions is offering 46 million for Colonia, so 229 mill!!!
Hmmm maybe I should actually do this.
