Did that look like 60FPS to you guys?

It seemed to was on 60fps atleast from the frameratecounter ingame. The stream wasnt. But i am worried about 14ms ping on a LAN setup i saw several times...maybe thats just me being uninformed and paranoid about it.

Good job VR is not in game. There would be some cleaning up to do.[ugh]

They flew half those folks in from Austin, so yeah backers you are paying all their expenses. And CR made them work until after midnight on this?

Flurbelgerbalgurgh.

All gone now.

Thanks Chris and everyone at CIG :)

And Thanks to Sandi's fake tattoo artist who has to keep applying that SC tattoo every live stream - you are an unsung hero!.

The big question is - Is this enough to keep the backers happy?

SM was just bad it almost identical as it was back when Illfonic did the job,ok maybe with some minor improvements(no headbob) and CR even had the courage to spit on COD and said how SM is more awesome....that man is [wacko]

Sorry, I just hate when people use the term "faith" with games or companies U,u

We shall see how this or other threads ends up in some hours

No prob chap.

It is indeed an odd word to use in this context - especially given how many times CR has been economical with the truth.

So on the one hand... SM was indeed somewhat janky, and didn't seem to offer anything new and exciting compared to any other FPS in about the last five years. The gravity forgetting to reset itself between rounds was especially egregious - Unreal Tournament had a zone/volume system for localised gravity in 1999, for goodness' sake.

But... It existed. It also mostly, in its quite basic form, worked. It's something that, given some time and a lot of love, I could maybe see myself wanting to play someday. Honestly at this point that shouldn't be high praise, but it's more than I expected, so fair play to CIG.

That moment when CIG forums praise sharing "internal schedule" (of course artificial as everything else SC pushes out in info bits)....some "open development" really going on here...
