Who Else Is Going To Run And Hide?

Interesting - the way FDev will implement aliens
Brainstorming - tongue in cheek :)

Sorry, I became salty after spending too much time in the Dangerous threads.

Alien crash site visit went off without a hitch. I unlocked Qwent and Palin in the same day, <cheers>

I saw no aliens on the way to or from, maybe it's all an elaborate hoax put on by the government to cover up some covert ops!!

I am slowly turning on to a heading that should eventually take me down to the Ishtar Region.

Ol' Bug-Eyes (if that is really who it is) can look for me there!

Scared...not scared.

Do you know what would be really interesting?

If we have nothing to fear from the Thargoids, and that they're actually trying to warn us of the other alien race about to make an appearance

Me, I'm just winter-proofing my explorer Courier now that we have a better idea about what to expect. After that, it's business as usual. I've been thinking about switching back to my Anaconda for a longer expedition, but I'd rather be out in deep space in a ship I'd stand more of a chance in.

What aspects of the Anaconda do you feel would make you vulnerable?

Not being able to run away from an alien ship, mostly. It's rather difficult to tell, but I think you'd need at least 450 m/s, and more like 500 m/s. The Anaconda is also a much bigger target. Of course, we might speculate that their weapons won't take an Anaconda apart before it can jump away, but the best defense is to not get hit in the first place.
