unless you are kitted for combat, a griefer (can't name, but I've met this poor excuse for a person in game before) is attacking people while docking at obsidian orbital.

avoid open play unless kitted for combat

you have been warned.

Greefur that logs?

Pm me the tag. Probably just a nobody, but I'm curious.

Woah hold on a second, this dude is not a logger. You have the video? Just so we're clear, the Frontier profile you linked me is the gt of the person in question?

searching, but I don't have a lot of hope. I didn't youtube it or anything and it was this past summer.

Yeah except he wont. I know this guy, I play with him all the time, he plays against one of the biggest player factions on xbox (Exo) and they will tell you he is not a logger.

He is also one of the leaders of the biggest greefur faction on xbox, and apart of the dsa, an alliance of multiple player groups, who have a one and done policy on logging.

He's not a logger.

It's possible I have the name wrong and I can't verify because the video is long gone, so whatever on that.

Either way, I'm not going to give him any credit for morality or honor when he's wing-tagging people while docking.

If you're going to try to slander someone's name, atleast have the decency to provide evidence, and make sure you have the right person.

Mind PMing me the persons gamer tag? Also if you recorded him logging send it to Frontier and he might get slapped over time.

No. That wasn't the point of the thread, it was a warning about active griefing.

that wasn't the point

the point was a warning of active griefing going on.

Uh yeah pretty sure it was. Before you decided to edit it out, half your original post was about how horrible of a person he was because he allegedly logged on you.

All shall kneel before the power of the vail... and tremble at the sight of the dark syndicate alliance.

Pft. Not anytime soon boys.

Aannnnndddd I'm gonna head back to faction home system. We're aquiring another station. Needs to get that influence up and get that election rolling.

Always get a kick out of the guys ganking folks in exploration vessels 500 LY outside the bubble.
I mean it's not even hard?

But I guess the old saying is true.
Misery loves company.

You don't really need to go to MAIA. There's other systems in the area with stations you can repair rearm at (take a med pad ship)
Can avoid the drama that way.

If you're looking to get yanked by alien ship still players have suggested ammonia worlds and collecting a UP. Honk it and go faff about for a bit. Most are reporting success. Didn't work for me but I'm only one example

Just FYI, if an area is getting any kind of attention, be it having CG's or mentioned in news in one way or another, you will see griefers, good rule of thumb to have, and prepare yourself accordingly if you play open.

This game gets boring, fast.
Griefing and ganking are great for breaking the monotonous gameplay.

I never understood this statement, I see it as an excuse many griefers in many games use.

Game is boring, I want to do something fun -> attacks random people that are so far below in power that they have no chance -> conclusion: 'fun' isn't related to challenging or similar to these people.
Griefing breaks monotonous game -> conclusion: repeatedly attacking only targets that can't defend themselves, is apparently not monotonous.

From this I conclude that what griefers are after is the 'fun' or affecting others in a negative way, that's what they find 'fun' it has nothing to do with the game itself, and has everything to do with their personality.
And so far in all the games I've played through the years, this has been proven true time and time again. Same conclusion over and over again, with very little variation on the statements and excuses used. But no, clearly game x fault, not people's personality?

And no this isn't a jab, this is an open question, basically asking, "How does that sentence even make sense?"

nah, he's a horrible person because he gets pleasure from the pain of others

there's a word in the english language for that: sociopath

I edited the OP because it was distracting.
