I see where you are coming from here, but I think you have the directions a bit wrong. North in ED is not the same as North is FE2/FFE. We now use 'Galactic North'. In those games, Polaris was North. The galaxy was also significantly flattened into that plane.

I also don't think the Guardians are Thargoid. I does not match the descriptions we have of them.

The Unknown ships in the Pleiades may well be The third race/Kalaxians/Other Insectoids form the South. But then again, it could be something else. :D

Getting the same here. I'm wondering if this means the area is bugged. Holding off on scanning any more until it's verified by FD as working as intended. Something doesn't seem right.

An idea at least to try, will be checking my barnacle locations later on before state change on Thursday to see if any changes after patch. at ruin site now with items
Unlikely but worth testing if it changes barnacle data from corrupted

Im thinking the area is bugged too. Im scanning obelisks with what should be the right items, Iv had 1 success so far from about 8-9 attempts. Thing Im finding is that the obelisk then switches off & Im having to re-load again to switch it back on.

It's either random or bugged.....Anyone from FD want to comment if it's working as intended?

I'm about to PM Riz, but there's an error on the map on the 1st page, in case nobody has noticed. The following obelisk (green circle) is also active.

I've also (finally) found a totem at the purple circle.

So, looks like I've got quite a trek to get from Maia over to these ruins. Any hints on driving one of those Scarab thingamabobs?

I tried dropping a picked-up UP next to an UA yesterday, but nothing happened. For now the only one able to reproduce this is the guy who originaly did it ( sorry forgot your name and I am too lazy to search ). Maybe you need to drop the UA in an untouched UP. I will try to replicate this when i get back from work, tough i don't have CRCR.

And same here cant get hyperdicted. at least we will be ok if they turn out tobe hell bent on killing the puny humans.

Good morning everybody!

I know there is an error in the map but I'm waiting someone to update it. However you can find the map in the spreadsheet as well.

NOW THE IMPORTANT THINGS:
I strongly think that, reading carefully through all the data we found, we already have hints about how to find the other Ruins.

What I take from the data is that this civilization is very similar to us, or perhaps even less advanced, though they have reached other achievements in other aspects of technology, they were not so advanced in terms of interstellar travels.

So my conclusion is that THE OTHER RUINS MUST BE VERY CLOSE TO THE ONE WE ALREADY FOUND. A near star system, OR EVEN THE SAME ONE: EVEN THE SAME PLANET!
Another reason for me to think this, is that the mission has a time limit. And we know that a time limit not goes well with the size of the galaxy.

No need to go to the other side of the galaxy, like some are suggesting, being very wrong IMHO. ;)

I accidentally jettisoned UP "into" UA field. I tried to replicate it a couple of times and finally succeeded. One expert please tell me if this is the normal behaviour?

I see a vague image of the original UP spectrogram, but the video is too quiet, or the UP is too far away.

has anyone tried getting interdicted by thecaliens while carrying the rellics from the ruins? i doubt it will do anything but in the intrest of science...

What spectrum software do you guys use? Was thinking to put the new UA and UP interaction through it and see what we get. Maybe some clues to the other sites?

I like the idea of the sound the obilisks emits and the relic we have to use. I will try to connect it to a working database for others. Get so farb2 data packs with language.

PS. I was hyperdicted with the whole subset of ancient relics. Nothing special happend.
