Don't understand what you're saying. The ruin is a fixed point on a rotating sphere & therefore describes a circular path (assuming the planet axis is not wobbling); that circle lies on a plane. I thought this was the plane you mentioned- I'm assuming the other ruin sites will lie on that plane, within (say) 40light years from this site.
It seems Clanga was right. Looking in the "Tales from the Frontier" book, it led me to suspect the system Wendigo. I went to Hausdorff Beacon and found the following message.

Decode please?
EDIT: It also mentioned guinea pigs shortly thereafter. So make of that what you will.
Could be, I did not initially notice the date. It just immediately stuck out as unusual. Still, may as well crack it to see what we come up with. May be something new, may not be!That message is from June 2016? I believe that's one of the Jacques's messages that were initially sent
The hex:

I agree that 3 seems the right number here. However, the 6.9dy partition stuff assumes that the guardian used a one day "day" XD.
Threw it into a few online translators, it isn't hex

Surely the galactic plane that the ruins lie on is calculable from the lat/long, the orbital/spin parameters of the planet & the coordinates of the system?
remlok industries still only has 35 entries
They ended the stream with the image, too. It's definitely something they want the community to solve.
The unit of measurements used by the guardians is the planet in merope. The same one the UP points to.
The object found on Toth 1A appears on the trailer at 12s

I'm pretty sure now that is not an "side easter egg".

It could have been the earliest incarnation of the site. We know they changed it once, why not twice? Not the same one though. The one in the vid was orbiting a star.
I've not really looked at that vid before, but that SRV at 22seconds is not at the same ruins as we've been scanning at synuefe.
