Alien archeology and other mysteries: Thread 9 - The Canonn

He means that soft singing sound we sometimes hear over planets. Similarly the alien crash sites have one too, but different and also has 'clicking' noises, such as insects might make. I've heard the crash site sound in space too which leads to my 100% unproven theory that those sounds indicate a hyperdiction chance area. While my own hearing is pretty good I might add that sound only references to game mechanics is a little unfair on those with hearing impairments. My old guild leader on SWTOR is deaf, and she has a terrible time on raids with similar mechanics. She has to rely on us telling her via typed chat, usually too late to save her.

The craters, one of which is shown, sing the same tune the relics do

Can you maybe give us a little more? Or we might have to dismiss this as a troll attempt.

All we see is a crater on a screenshot, that could be anything. Give us the system and planet name plus crater coords. Show an ingame video of the crater and the craters "singing".
Show screenshots with HUD. Tell us how you have solved the ruins puzzle as you mentioned you solved it. A picture of a crater isn't going to convince anyone.

Have any earth like planets been found in systems near to the ancient ruins? I mean, given that Ram has said they share many humanoid things with us, is it too much of a leap to presume that this isnt their home planet... and that the home planet would be an earthlike?

I guess it could be anywhere in reality, but maybe an earthlike would be at the centre of whatever geometric pattern of sites?

Dumb question, but will take a look around...

I like this idea. I think we aren't using the received Obelisk data enough. There are more clues similar to this one. Just have to combine them.

I heard this "singing" while investigating the big craters on the two pairs of planets in the ruins system that orbit together. I had a quick (not thorough) look around but found nothing.

Has anyone tired to open the casket..shoot it I mean ;)

When I blew up one of the ruins objects they all disappeared. I had to relog to get them back.

and, would you bother to share your finding with us?

It's mostly in my earlier posts, and if your at the ruins on Monday 23/01/16, between the hours of 19:00 - 21:00, you will be able to identify the system. Regarding the actual planet and co-ords pay particular attention to the info provided around the two circular features at the ruins.

MB, if you reading, thanks for some of the most pleasurable gaming hours I've had in along time. Excellent work by the devs. However I do think the 4 digit number encoded into the ruins distracts from the guardian lore somewhat, unless they were time travelers and enjoyed reading human catalogues!
lol

I've posted a bug report about being unable to turn in the mission, if you received it by docking at Phoenix Base (which has no mission board).

The system still gives you the mission, but then you can't turn it in (I checked all the other stations to be sure).

If you've had this same issue, please add your comments to the bug report.

It's just one more in a slew of bugs on this, but we should still report it.

I am totally not with that, though.
Reason being, that your order of the ID parts (Tech, History, Language, Biology and Culture) isn't in any way determined by the Guardians, but just made up by you.

I am not even convinced that the located ruins include a hint to the location of the other sites at all.

you are absolutely right, the order is arbitrary. It was just for have a few "numbers" around that may come up exploring ruins topology/objects/data

about the hint for others ruins, the reason behind my thought is that being part of a "network" maybe we can find some sort of address

I think if the first set of ruins are supposed to be easier to find than the current one that we have it will be closer to the inhabited bubble. Maybe we should be checking the other Synuefe systems closer to there and if we find one we should be able to find the last as we know that they are almost defiantly in a near perfect equilateral triangle formation as we have gathered from some of the information we have gathered.

I'm still considering this a troll post without any concrete information. All we have from you is a screenshot of a crater. I can post screenshots of craters as well and say "I have solved the ruins puzzle, there you see their homeworld, it's this crater right there. Oh and by the way log in next week at 5 pm because the Guardians provided us with a specific time at which they will tell us the next ancient site, which I obviously found before already because I solved the puzzle".

Maybe I'm not on the home world after all, though it does give me an idea of another place to check in this system.
