Oof! Long time. I'm on my second day at the moment. Fingers crossed these Co-Ords we have just received from CMDR Avvie has the base close by.
Good job. Getting this published should have one important implication - whoever has been trying to cover this up, if they are still around, is now going to be very, very unhappy. Maybe it will provoke a reaction of some kind.

The time I got ganked, speed played no part. They had a corvette and an FDL. Mass locked me, and fired more missiles than my MDS could possibly take out and the FDL cut me to pieces. That was in an armed and armored Anaconda, I can't imagine you last long enough to run in an unshielded exploration ship.

We're on Xbox if that makes any difference, although I play on PC and usually get a slight delay dropping to glide near settlements, bases etc. Avvie has been dropping in and out of sc atleast since I was winged up with him yesterday, that's why I've jumped on it. I tested glide and force dropping at the known bases and I get the delay, anywhere else it's instant
I did 5 drop to the cords. on PC no delay with drops to normal space. also I'm on private group.

It probably is just an Xbox thing, which might help tbh
I'm on PC and just did a force drop at about 23 12 and encountered a significant delay. Can't see a thing here in the dark.
If it helps I force dropped at about 35km altitude.

For anyone who is struggling with the dark.... turn your GAMMA all the way up! That being said though i'm still not seeing anything related to settlements etc.

I'm puttering about the crater in my SRV with the Hi beams on trying to hit a high signal. Found poi stuff so far.
