And another tip.... toggle your FREECAM mode if your on pc. Not sure whether this is on XB1.
NEVER EVER DO THAT UNLESS YOU HAVE MIDDLE CLICKED THE MOUSE TO GO TO FREE VIEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So your vector is steady. Otherwise, eat ground buddy.

Xbox also has this as well. I've been mainly in the debug cam at about 3-4km altitude flying in straight lines for days now
I'm bean moving around the planet searching but in the map it always shows me in the same spot. :/

And now it says i'm in the dark area but the sun is above me.
The shade on the planet in the system map is not a real time representation of the shade. I might be what it looks like at a particular planet time or something.
The blue marker moves when you're in a different location in normal flight on the surface. That's all I know for sure about that
