Some observations:
d101, c22-17 and b2-4, form a triangle of almost exactly 70 LY from each other
119 is almost exactly 300LY from the center of the triangle
102 is almost exactly 200LY from the center of the triangle
119, 102 and b2-4 are in the same galactic plane.
Don't know if it means anything.
Is there a mathematical formula which can take into account co-ordinates in similar location tking into account reduced planet surface area
Ok, I'm interested in looking at any new theories on the known site. Can you explain why you chose not to count the fallen over pieces?
I think this is quite an interesting idea, and I can see your logic behind it, but it doesn't seem to take into account the 'pillars' that have fallen (which, I'm assuming, were once standing)
...ninja'd
The other relic if it exists would be very far out though. Farther than the diameter of the ruins itself and the beacons only activate once you get closer than about 10 meters. So it's easy to just scavenge for materials and just miss the spot where the relic is.

Coordinates are always the same and don't change based on planet size. Latitude is always 90 degrees north and 90 degrees south and longitude is always 180 degrees east and 180 degrees west.
Greetings Commanders, I have been to the "XO-P" and found 2 USSs near it. One with destroyed cutter and large data cache and one with destroed FGS and small data cache. I have not seen any USSs spawn anywhere else in the system... Could it mean something?
Found nothing yet on the planet though. But given my computer abilities I would have to bump into the ruins to be able to find them.
I asked this yesterday and the answer is that the co-ordinates remain the same regardless of the planetary size.
I see where you want to get.
Some thoughts:
Segments around the circular mounds are counts ( big mound: count 4 stars and the clock hand point to the fouth star);
G cluster platform is the asteroid field;
Small mound is on the tenth structure;
Small mound has three segments, so count three bodies;
Obelisk clusters are "stuff" and are positioned where you can find them. Thing on the asteroid belt, for example;
The orbits in the white picture sketch don't match the orbits from the system the system map screenshot is. There is a K type (?) and a red dwarf as binary pairs orbiting a common barycentre and then there is a brown dwarf orbiting a different barycenter around those 2 binary stars and then there is another red dwarf (?) which is orbiting a barycentre from from the other 3 stars.
Another check and this does stand up....

has anyone actually tried to decypher the glyphs on the pillars. There are 3 sides that seem to have different glyphs on each.

Anything other than brain trees been discovered whilst I rested?
Morning all. Not fully caught up yet, and am at work, so wont be much to add from me atm.
But what gooddoc said, except the radar bit - they don't, we just have to live with that.
But the the original ruins.
Re-read the stuff about the Guardians language.
Its visual. It uses symbols/glyphs. They encode astronomical info in those glyphs ("the moon, as seen from their homeworld").
Its basically telling us the ruins are a coded source of information that will reveal astro data.
More time trying to crack that code rather than flying low and slow peering out of cockpits getting eyestrain may be whats needed.
I'm liking that line of thought about the cordyceps though! Good find and good idea!
They have been found out Colonia way, and I said then (earlier in this thread) that cordyceps was bad news.
Keep your spirits up folks, and remember this is not some "click the '?', go to new location click on '?' there" situation. These puzzles could take weeks, months or maybe even years to decypher.
Good luck everyone o7
No, they are rather playing bruteforce-bingo.has anyone actually tried to decypher the glyphs on the pillars. There are 3 sides that seem to have different glyphs on each.
