How about listening to the people they pay for designing games, who may have done it for years, and who are probably better at it than (rough estimate) 99.995% of the forum cattle? Wouldn't that have been a grand option?

If only they had someone like that on a payroll. One can dream... A person who would fish the pearls from DDF for example, and make them into reality. A person who doesn't throw a hissy fit over a legit vote let alone arrange the options in such a way that any other than theirs is wrong. And a person who actually practices dogfooding (the act of using one's own products in your work, in this case, a player) instead of having an account starting with FDEV and using all the IDDQD and IDKFA there are to avoid the grind he "designed".
