A Final Plea to Frontier for Longer Hairstyles

Whilst my main character most likely wouldn't have long hair, I agree completely with the OP and think there should be long hair options for people that want it.
One of the things that impressed me with the Commander Creator was the diversity of the characters one can create, however, I did feel it was let down with the lack of long hair options, for both the female and male.
So Frontier, please add some long hair options, thanks. We wouldn't want to get out the ED Protest Goat.

Is there a reason for all the antagonizing that is currently going on in this thread? If you disagree with someone simply say so and leave it at that......I can only think that the goal of persisting in egging people on that share a different view than yours is an attempt to get the thread closed because you disagree with it. Really poor form.....in short say your piece and be done....grow up!

Hi. Just so you know your voice has been heard. I'll pass this on to the developers and make sure they see the thread. Just in the same way we do with all passionate discussions - obviously I can't promise anything, but your voice has been heard.
I'd like them longer hairstyles too. But why no such? Because: Remlok. Long hair could cause your death in case of canopy breach and the Remlok getting stuck when being deployed. It's not that we couldn't have them per se... it's merely a safety issue.

I have long hair in my books, so agree with the OP. No reason it can't be done in the 34th century.
It's also in the game lore. You can't tell me that Aisling Duval hasn't flown on a ship... unless that really is a wig.

She most likely has flown on a ship, most likely not flown the ship herself considering her usual spoiled child attitudes. But my question is different. Say a canopy breach occurs, how does the emergency deployable helmet gets around the fact that there is a mass of hair breaking the seal ? Unless you get special magnetised hairpins that you have to clip at certain strategic points along the hair mass. How could that work with "free" hair ? The only solution to this would either to have the hair in a bunch, braid, ponytail(s) etc.
So please Drew, o master of the lore, bless me with a beautifully made explanation of how this would work. I would be more than pleased to hear your take on all of this.

I want! But would whet appetite too? Would also be nice imo, if pilot related vanity sales went directly towards developing this already very cool character generator, to further heights of awesome-ness. I personally got the impression that a couple of the beards are still works in progress and would hate to think of anything in ED ever being finished, anyway. Great works of art are NEVER 'finished' .. they are only (ever) 'abandonned'!?

I guess none of the 'long hair advocates' have no slightest clue just how remlok operates and how or where from it's deployed...
You don't put it on your head yourself, it pops up from the collar of your suit, flings around the back of your head, to finally enclose your face too - forming sort of a helmet while at it.
