Busted back to Harmless

That must have been quite a fine.

I don't understand, she was flying a panther clipper, why would her combat rank be any higher than harmless?

Maybe she just reset her save?

It's a plausible theory. But all of them?
There is not a single harmless pilot for hire who doesn't have an impressive sounding pilot history.
I know people lie on job applications, but when their documentation specifically disproves it.....

Interestingly, though, I have suggested in other threads that combat rank could drop due to lack of use or getting killed in combat. I recall that I first raised it as a solution to those whining about the "oh so scary" NPC's :p.

Also, notice the casual reference to the Panther Clipper.... ;).

Yeah. I'm going to take this as proof that FD are going to release the Panther Clipper with 2.3. If they don't do this, I'll start countless rage threads about it:)

edit - and the other thing I'm going to assume is that flying a Panther Clipper, you will get a free full load of 2000 tons of onionhead each time you dock at Harvestport. It'll just break my immersion if it doesn't happen.

The ones that amuse me the most are the ones that babble on about how they were a veteran of the Lugh War, or hunted dozens of pirates in Bast, or some other backstory where they've slaughtered plenty of enemies, and yet they're still rated "Harmless". We know the NPC Union has a much less strict definition of the rankings than the Pilots Federation does, because it's much easier for an NPC crew to progress through the ranks than it is for us. "Resume padding" is the only logical explanation.

I'd refuse to hire such an obvious liar. They're clearly up to no good.

Or Elizabeth might be doings some CV padding

Have you ever worked on a Starship before?

Yup Totally owned a Panther Clipper once
Oh and I was a runner up in the St Valentine's Day regatta
Totally know how to fly a ship
You're not googling Regatta results are you?

Yeah I've seen some claim to be Buckyballers, as if that's a recommendation.
