Ah, never thought about it from the other side of things (the bounty / fine side).
That's cool if it is how it works.

However, for enough people to have been killed to cause this, I'm sure there'd be a thread about it saying there are "griefers" in the founders system..... so I'll stand by my guess of a group messing with the BGS out of the way killing NPCs

Extremely unlikely that Elite ranked players would resort to that behaviour of crying in the forums
Heck, by time I reached Dangerous I learnt enough to know that I have the power to choose my confrontations

You didn't buy my game, nor Nutters game.

You planning on refunding us our costs? Paying us an hourly wage to do what YOU want?
Going to pay me my PC upgrades, game cost and season pass values..... no?
Then don't tell others what to do with what THEY paid for.

Also some of us are not "pew pew" enthusiasts and have no interest in "pew pew" (Be it players or AI).
Some of us relax by taking in the sights and just gently going to and fro, A to B to A.
Listening to the sounds of the engine and "Friendship drive charging" (yes, I know what it really says - but I prefer that one).
I even moved away from busy areas, out to a fringe area so the BGS would not be any issue to me and I could crack on.

I didn't buy this game to have a 2nd job and forced game play. I left EVE for that very reason.
This one told me I could play my way. And yet again, it has proven I cannot.
As I couldn't get a quick half hour in last night, so now my ship isn't ready for me to play tonight.

Unfortunately lockdown means he can't get his ship to play with - 'His Way' - He can't even fit his ship to go bounty hunting - So... what was it you said again?

EDIT: Just to add my modules are stored there and if I had time to play I'd be stuck too

To be honest, this lockdown was on the horizon for quite some days. Before it, the Pilot's Federation had been forced to retreat from their silly expansions several times, may that be the cause or not. Recently, the pending state had changed from "lockdown" to "boom, lockdown", so I had a little hope the outcome would be "boom", but it wasn't. It's surely annoying, as I got my entire 14 piece fleet there and can't make much use of it currently as I heavily use module storage, but no big deal otherwise IMHO. The same thing happened in my old home system several times, it will be gone within a few days.

I was writing something lengthy explaining how your demands to undo the BGS work of other players is forcing them to play your way, but I really cant be bothered as you'll misconstrue and lawyer my words.

This will sound daft, but have you tried flying to a neighbouring system to transfer your assets out of there?

Remember that when you sell the piece, you get the full cash value back, so once lockdown is gone you can sell your kit. Then buy new ones and enjoy the 10% discount. Alternatively, you can fly to a LYR powerplay system and get 15%.

Yes, but outfitting including module storage and crew lounge are gone. Otherwise, I wouldn't care at all. The annoying thing is that I can't access my engineered modules that are in storage directly from Jameson, but I could always fly the ship to one of the Dark Wheel bases (like Puleston Arsenal, large pads) and use module transfer, the cost is neglible. So, after all, it's more of a convenience issue. The closest LYR systems are 90+ly away, though, if one still cares about money [noob]

You dont need to pledge to powerplay to benefit from that discount. Its not that far a journey either, 3 or 4 Asp jumps to their region.

fear not Ly YonG Rui systems offer 15% discount to all players regardless of rating, and you dont have to sign up to Powerplay to get that bonus.

Only drawback is that unlike Jameson not all modules are in all locations. however http://inara.cz/galaxy-outfitting allows you to search for systems based on your location and shows nearest, as well as allowing you to filter just on those with discount.

Second: Thanks Frontier that you give the Jerks the possibility to ruin the game for others. Hope your guys are proud of yourself!

Jemson Memorial was supposed to be a special place, a "save heaven" if you will, something players have to earn to be there. All i have earned today was a great disappointment after reaching Elite. This is the first time in my gaming history, that i reached the highest achievable goal in a game that literally punched me in the face. Thanks Frontier...

You see? And someone DID earn to be there, probably doing the same things you did, and now they decided to screw you up. Go figure. People are so random.

Besides, I really don't know why is it such an issue for so many people? It's BGS. It works both ways. It's not like someone cheated to ruin your game. You can either wait it out, complaining on forums in the meantime (Which will be a headache for us, thanks for that) or you can go and do something about it!
