Nice work! Thank you for the link at the end of the post. Very interesting project. I might look into setting up a spreadsheet for this sort of thing sometime in the near future, if you're interested.

As for the mention on your post, CookieJarvis is a friend who made this forum post in an effort to garner attention for the project, but isn't a participant in the project himself. I'm the curator of the sheet, while CMDR Sajime Chent-Shi and CMDR Jackie Silver are the primary contributors (with other valuable submissions from CMDR Lyrae Cursorius and others in this thread and on Discord). Just a heads up, as I don't want queries about the sheet and its progress accidentally sent to CookieJarvis where they may not go answered.

So far we have:
408 complete beacons
143 incomplete beacons (I am visiting around 120 of them in the next time)
168 completely unknown beacons

Please correct your spreadsheet... Its not Janus' project it is Klumpozytes project

Fixed! I'm going through and adding the beacons and images now.

However, I noticed you stated (indirectly?) that you have 2 less unknown beacons than the sheet currently has. After a quick runthrough of the images Klumpozyte has posted, I was only able to find one completely new beacon, which I've just added. Is the other in another batch?

Just added all of these. 36 of them went through the script without a hitch. Looks like 4 came up as duplicates, likely submitted after you visited the beacons sometime.

I think tourist beacons have only been in the game since October at the earliest, if that's what you mean; I've been working on this spreadsheet since then.

Is your spreadsheet on Google Docs? If so, would you be willing to share it? Would be handy to ensure that we both have a complete set of data collected so far.

I am sorry to tell you that todays batch only contain 6-7 new (T3) Beacons... I am actually doing my A-Levels and have not much time this week is a bit overplanned if you ask me...

Other batches will follow soon...

Idk if there is a failiure in my calculations or I just deleted one beacon or maybe don't find it but there is ine beacon which is different between our sheets... This weekend should be enough time to look through all the beacons

No worries! There's no hurry; these tourist beacons aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

I spend most of my Elite time searching for the beacons that are completely unknown (T1) beacons; that one Te** visitor beacon is really a thorn in my side right now. So, all of these images are incredibly helpful, and help fill in a part of the spreadsheet that still needs work.

Could you explian what T1 beacons are ?

T1 beacons are the beacons on the spreadsheet (Link) that are coloured red. They are beacons that do not have a known system, image, or beacon name. They're the beacons that are completely missing/unknown, currently.

I usually can turn them orange (T2) by checking passenger mission boards for new locations I haven't seen, or checking systems of importance. I've also had a lot of success with taking apart EDDB data and finding correlations between tourist beacon locations, economies, planet types in system, etc; as well as internal patterns in the tourist beacon numbering scheme.

Always inventing new strategies to fill in more of the sheet!
