So by spreading the grind out over a couple of months it no longer becomes a grind? You are still going to have to watch the same number of loading screens, scoop the same amount of fuel and honk, honk, honk away in total isolation.
Of course this can be interspersed with scanning beige planets and driving around featurless terrain in the glass SRV, but that too becomes very dull very quickly.
I have a thing fer huge canyons and a 23ly keelback fer exploring the core...ever tried taking a long range ship into the core? Try and ye will see what I mean. Long range actually causes more issues than anything else. Im also a lone wolf player...perfectly happy with my own company.
Subjectively, its grind to you...to me, its exploration. Its also in the bubble...the one place I dont wanna be. Make it possible to get the commodities outside that hateful miserable place, and Im good to go. Seriously, seems to be more a problem fer you guys than it is fer me...Im not even remotely bothered and Ive spent enough time to know I simply dont need them ^
Same thing with grinding out credits...why would I need that as an explorer whose fleet consists of d rated aspx and a d rated keelback? I have no desire to get ships I dont know how to use, so why bother? My needs are simple enough so all the good things are things Ill enjoy when the time is right and I earn creds much slower than any other career. Theres nowehere to spend them out here anyway and jacques has nothing of any value anyway. I only went back to the bubble to build up an exploration kb and get fighters which I cant get anywhere else ^
