Patch Notes Update 2.3 Beta, Update 2

* Ancient sites should not longer change layout (but all layouts will permanently change)

Does this mean that all the mapping of layouts (done by Cannon and many others) is now useless, and will need to be completely redone?

If this is the case then yes all of our maps and data will be wrong and all 100+ sites we have verified will need to be run through -again-

Not exactly happy with how FDev is handling this.

If it was bugged, it was bugged. What else are they exactly supposed to do if the ancient sites were changing layouts but weren't supposed to? The footnote seems to explain it pretty succinctly.

Fixed Imperial Cutter vanity camera orientations
Fixed Federal Corvette vanity camera orientations

Great, that just leaves the AspX, FDS and Cobra MkIV vanity cams to fix.. *cracks whip*

Put it in a beta bug report! Preferably with screenshots! (If you haven't already, of course!)

Question: Why exactly is it called a HoloMe? Is creating a character really going to break immersion that bad?

Because in Multicrew and SLFs, you don't physically transfer to the ship - you operate these via remote control, instantly, in real-time, from any point in the Galaxy.

Which then begs the question why you don't do everything by remote control whilst you sit safely planetside in your undies binging on Netflix.

Which ultimately breaks immersion.
