If I had a credit for every "Im leaving" post, I wouldn't need to worry about this 3 million fine I just picked up thats for sure.
How many hours do you have OP?
After 2000+ hours the game is tedious.
I'm checking the current beta then will be off doing something more engaging than ED.
LOL.. yeah.. The thing that amuses me is the folks who claim to have quit playing and are still posting here. I've enumerated, in the past, a couple of things that would make me quit the game even though I have a LEP, but they haven't happened yet and if they did I sure wouldn't hang around here preaching how sour the grapes were. That way surely lies madness. If I'm going to quit a game, I'd just, you know.. quit it?
If, for some stupid reason, I did indulge in that insanity I'd expect the rest of you to do as I do with all the others that descend into that kind of trolling. Plonk 'em straight in the killfile.
My issue is: fine, you don't like the game (apparently) & you plan to quit (apparently).....but did you REALLY have to post your decision on the forums? Here, have 50 cents, call someone who actually *cares*!![]()
Yeah, sure you will and I'm going to be the next president.
Yeah, it's the modern world. Apparently if it isn't on the internet somewhere it's not real or something.
If I do ever decide to quit this game, none of you will ever even know about it.
What I find amusing is the number of people that talk about how terrible the game is and how broken it is and how they're quitting the game. Meanwhile they have 2000+ hours in the game and are clearly majorly addicted. It's like watching a heroin addict ing to their dealer that the product sucks and they're going to quit. Yeah, sure you will and I'm going to be the next president.
Is this thread really necessary?
This is every game forum ever. There is always a contingent of people who hang their entire entertainment needs and even sometimes their self-worth on a single game, and then are of course ruined when the game doesn't support that level of neediness at every turn. They stay forever, slowly resenting more and more the fact that they're not getting what they need instead of simply going to find what they need elsewhere.
It's like staying in a bad relationship to avoid being alone, instead of using the 500000 available dating sites or even going to the grocery store in a nice shirt. Much simpler for some people to just stay with someone they hate, and game relationships seem to fall into this same dynamic for many people.
It helps to have slightly insane leadership who come up with oddball activities that might not even relate to game progression. Yes, I'm looking at you, Arc and Big Pappa.![]()
